It's easy to get caught up in pointing the finger at society and systematic issues. Those things are real and do need to be addressed but so do the issues within the community. Domestic violence, problematic people and a lack of unity are all problems that start at home. Change means dealing with those who are violating the community codes. A common word being used in today's politics, business & news is "diversity". Where different groups are represented. But what happens when the ones put in don't truly align with the group they're representing? Is it better to not be represented than misrepresented? What do we do about the people who use us to get into position, then forget about us? Code switching...then the switch up! Listen/Subscribe/Share & Say Something!!!

This country has had a long history of directly/indirectly damaging or turning a blind eye to the troubles of the community. Yet many Americans are on stand by as their lives and situations get worse, waiting on Uncle Sam to save the day. Listen/Comment/Subscribe and Say So0mething!!!

What does true equality look like? Biden signing a new Executive Order allowing transgender citizens to join the military has been met with opposition. Policies to let student athletes compete as and against the gender they identify with, have some people saying it's unfair. Challenging the work of a politician is standard, but will addressing the first Black female VP's work be seen as business as usual or attacking the Black woman? Are we fighting for true equality or simply opportunities?

After what is being deemed as domestic terrorism took place at the Capitol, the nation now has to take a long look at itself. Clear disparities in how protesters last week were treated as opposed to the BLM protests just 6 months before shine a bright light on the difference in Americas its citizens live in. With a president facing his 2nd impeachment, a new one about to be sworn in and a nation feeling more divided, what does it look like moving forward?
