Say Your Goodbyes

Double bach!! This week, we had two back to back nights of The Bachelorette so there was A LOT to cover. Abi and Aaron start out by sharing the latest Bachelor Nation news, followed by the Portal Potty "Weekly Flush," and then get into the recap. Monday night we saw one-half of the remaining men get sent home followed by a very dull Men Tell All and more unnecessary storylines revisited. Then, Tuesday night was hometowns and all of the men were so wonderful it is impossible to choose between them! Ultimately, Ben gets sent packing for basically telling everyone BUT Tayshia that he loves her.

Join Abi and Aaron every Wednesday for their recap of Clare's/Tayshia's season of The Bachelorette.

Aliens, portals, ghosts, demons...this ranch has it all! And it can be yours for only $5 million dollars. In this week's paranormal episode, Abi and Hayley dive into the story of Stardust Ranch, a sprawling 10-acre horse ranch located in Buckeye, AZ. The owner, John Edmonds, is having some trouble selling the home due to his claims there are two alien portals on the property and that he has killed 19 aliens with a samurai sword. Is he for real, or is this just an elaborate hoax?

First, Abi tells Aaron the latest tea about something that happens on Matt James' season. This can be considered a spoiler, so if you want to be completely spoiler-free,  you may want to skip ahead. Then, Aaron introduces his new segment: "Portal Potty"- during which a problematic member of Bachelor Nation will be flushed for something dumb or cringe-worthy they did that week. During the recap, they chat Bennett getting sent home and coming back,  Ben's one-on-one, the lie detector test group date, and how ABC screwed up yet again showing a spoiler in the promo!

Join Abi and Aaron every Wednesday for their recap of Clare's/Tayshia's season of The Bachelorette!

Time Stamps:

• (1:32) Matt James spoiler/tea
• (7:31) Portal Potty Weekly Flush

For this week's paranormal episode, Abi and Hayley dive into some very mysterious cases. First, Hayley gives an update on the mysterious Utah monolith-was it aliens after all?
Then, they discuss the case of D.B. Cooper, an unidentifiable man who hijacked a plane in November of 1971. He demanded money and parachutes, but after jumping from the plane he was never seen again. Finally, they explore the puzzling story of the man from Taured. In 1954, a mysterious man appears in a Tokyo airport, claiming to be from a country called Taured that doesn't exist. Was he a time traveler, from a parallel universe, or was it just a hoax? Abi and Hayley ponder both cases and chat about possible explanations for them, briefly touch on the Mandela Effect, and how portals are lurking everywhere so be careful!

Time Stamps:

• (1:05) Mysterious Monolith update
• (5:30) Wild and Woke Promo
• (6:20) D.B. Cooper Case
• (37:46) The Man from Taured

This week, Abi and Aaron are joined by Loren of The Basic Bitch Podcast! It was so much fun having Loren on to help recap the episode. They chat Zac C.'s one-on-one, an artistic and *revealing* (in more ways than one) group date, how La Quinta may possibly be haunted, the drama between Bennett and Noah, and even go off on some tangents about reality tv, sports, ghost hunts, and Girl Scout field trips!

Be sure to check out Loren along with her co-host Alex over on The Basic Bitch Podcast for all things related to the basic culture and Bachelor nation! New episodes every Wednesday, available on all major podcast platforms.

For this week's paranormal episode, Abi and Hayley discuss the chilling case of Betty and Barney Hill. Their case was the very first widely publicized report of alien abduction in the United States. Were they actually abducted, was it all a dream, did they fabricate the entire thing? Hayley has an interesting theory about drugs, and Abi has no idea what to think!

Exciting news: we are now part of PodMoth Media Network!

Time Stamps:

• (0:50) PodMoth Network announcement
• (1:24) Thanksgiving chats
• (6:25) Mysterious monolith discovered in Utah desert

After a little bit of Bachelor nation (fake) news, the recapping begins! Aaron and Abi discuss the ridiculous low-budget and cringe group dates, Ivan being amazing (we are officially an Ivan stan podcast now-sorry, Aaron), BLM and actual deep convos taking place,  an Ed and Papa Chris 1-on-1 we never saw coming, and Noah being manipulative and shady. Also, Aaron thinks Noah resembles a young Rob Kardashian mixed with Jason from The Hills.

Stay tuned for next week's episode featuring some very special guests to help us recap the episode!

Listen through to the end of the episode where Aaron shares his own personal stories of freaky accidents and NDE's including a bomb exploding in his face at age 6, getting hit by a car at age 16, and his own personal experiences with drug use that changed his perception on consciousness and the power of the human brain.

Happy Friday the 13th! In this episode, Abi and Hayley discuss the superstition around this unlucky day. They also talk about the Friday the 13th movies.  Since the Friday the 13th movie series was set on a campground, the ladies chat about two haunted camps as well.

First, they talk about Camp Rutledge, a campground located in Rutledge, GA that was actually used for filming Friday the 13th: Jason Lives. Not only was this the creepy location used for the film, but it is actually super haunted, too!

Then, they chat about St. Anne's retreat, a former nunnery and summer campground located in the northern mountains of Utah that is not only haunted but the setting of a terrifying true crime.

Time Stamps:

• (1:45) Intro- I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious
• (22:58) Friday the 13th movies
• (26:45) Camp Rutledge
• (38:25) St. Anne's Retreat
