The Bible speaks about the pleasure of sin for a season. The season of sowing. The pleasure of sin cams when we sow, but the pain comes when we reap. This is why David gave such a vivid description in Psalm 38 of what we suffered when we sin.

Let’s encourage other people to say no. Let’s live in such a way that we don’t encourage other people to sin.... let’s encourage others and try to restore them. Let’s also love the Lord more. Why? Because Lord Jesus Christ went through all of these consequences on the cross for us. He felt the burden. He felt the arrows. And He did it so that we could be forgiven.
