This live show hosted International participants of Summer Course 2019 at the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, Ben Gurion University of the Negev.  June 2019. Pride month in Israel. Termination of the Man in the Desert department. Five students from India, Mexico, Kazakhstan and hosts from India, Israel and Kenya sit in the studio in discussing their lives in the past, the present and the future. What is the Kazakh unexpected food? Where can you find the most beautiful temple in India? How is it like to be born on the border of USA and Mexico? All that and much more in our most recent student magazine hosted by Jansi and Francisco. Great music from all over these countries. Interview with Prof. Yodan Rofe on MID at the very end.

 The show this week hosts the Beatnik, an Israeli rock band whose performance at the 50th anniversary of Woodstock festival was so phenomenal that we had to have them over for the SB Campus Spring Party!

Also, the 49th Board of Governor's meeting was held on the Sede Boker Campus, and we interviewed Max Gitter (a member of the Board from New York), Orli Gold-Haklay (BGU Dept. of Donor and Associates Affairs), and former Minister of Education Aharon Yadlin, under whose tenure the Ben Gurion University of the Negev was established.

Finally, we learn more from Dr. Anat Rosenthal (BGU, Israel) and Dr. Julie Trottier (CNSR, France) about their fascinating research who were here at the SIDEER students conference.

 In this show we commemorate the Holocaust memorial day listening to a testimony from Vivian Mau about how Aristides Sousa Mendes  saved her family lives. We also had a chance to interview Dr. Chris Arnusch, a faculty member from the Zuckerberg institute for Water Research on his recent research publications on Laser Induced Graphine. We also listen to some new bands from both Canada and Israel, whose great music you will definitely love!

 On our Pesach Special Prof. Daniel Chamovitz, the President of Ben Gurion University of the Negev, spoke exclusively with SB Campus Radio about his vision, leadership, science and future exciting developments at BGU.
