Suffering in Lebanon 4 August 2020, two explosions in the capital of Lebanon Beirut 200 died and 6000 wounded.

After civil war, decades of corruption and economic calamity, now a blast unlike any other. The Lebanese forced to suffer tragedy after catastrophe on, it seems, an endless repeat.

The death toll from that massive explosion in Beirut stands at 200 and that number will surely rise. Hundreds of people remain missing today. At least 6,000 are wounded, with hospitals among the buildings destroyed or severely damaged. Treating the injured is proving extremely difficult.
