This week's episode takes a look at the scandal filled presidency of Ulysses S. Grant, who while trying to rebuild the country in the aftermath of the American Civil War found himself fighting off corruption from within on multiple fronts. The largest of which was the Whiskey Ring, a criminal organization with political ties that was stealing millions from the government and was getting a little too close to the Oval Office for comfort.
