We've officially cast aside the unofficial name: now it's just the GachaPod. Allen was right, that other name isn't a good idea. It's a great idea, but it's not a good idea. But we are still here to talk about gacha games, what makes them tick, how much they do or don't respect your money... and a lot more.

On this episode, Six is joined by Briar Sovereign (@weregazelle) and Dylan (@LowPolyRobot) are joined in their love of Gundam to talk about how much they... don't love Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare, the new Mobile Suit Gundam gachapon game on phones. We have good reasons for not liking it- this game is a real mess, y'all. Gundam deserves better. But you can paint a Bearguy the colors of a Zaku, so who can say what's good and bad really????

This time, though, all bets are off in regards to spoilers: how do the three routes play out, and what do our panelists make of them? It's all on the table now.

The Playlist of recent games returns! Six and Jen have sampled of gaming's bounty, and bring back fresh reports from the field! First, Six lays out the case for Remnant: From the Ashes, a little-covered but fascinating new Soulslike for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Were you disappointed by the implementation of guns in Bloodbourne? Great news, my friend. Then, Jen attempts to break the dreamlike world of Anodyne 2 into a format your brain can process. Perhaps easier said than done. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw made a very strong first impression on Six, but the further in ve gets, the more ve feels let down by it. Finally, Jen took a chance on Dicey Dungeons, and seems to be coming out on top. The house always wins, but sometimes you can win as well.
