“Boys don’t talk about their feelings!”  

Really?!? We’re still dealing with that old chestnut?  

As a society, we need to instill productive mental health practices in our children early so they can grow up to be well-adjusted adults. Treating boys as emotionless automatons has gotten us to the situation where we are today where depression and other mental health issues and cripple many of those would otherwise be happier and more productive in all aspects of life.   

Let’s ditch the antiquated thought that boys shouldn’t show their feelings. Let’s tell them that it’s OK to let others know how they feel so we can ALL be happier and healthier!
