The Omen, The Crow, Poltergeist, and other films dealing with supernatural themes have been plagued by bad luck, creepy karma or curses on set. One notable curse is the infamous death of actor Brandon Lee on the set of The Crow. Was it a continuation of the Lee Family Curse or bad studio management? You decide.

It represents the real life lessons of choices and consequences that we as regular people also deal with. Super heroes for having super strength and abilities are relatable to us because of the down to earth emotions and inner demons they fight. Like the rest of us, we are faced with choices daily, and it's these choices that shape our personality and character.

Team Scarif takes a look at how this phrase affects characters in geek media. We talk about Peter Parker's arrogance, Bruce Wayne's unattainable thirst for vengeance and Magneto's mission to wipe out the unjust and corrupt homo sapien with a new breed of human.
