  • Yep. This Again.

So today we touch on a topic I've already dived into a few months back. Plagiarism.

For those who neglect to understand the seriousness of plagiarism and how it affects not only YOU but the author you're stealing hard work from, I figured I'd talk about it a little more in-depth, as well as put some information for you all to read.

"Plagiarism can get you expelled from your course, college and/or university. Plagiarism can result in your work being destroyed. Plagiarism can result in expulsion from your academic institution, in some cases permanent expulsion. Plagiarism can result in legal action; fines and penalties etc."-https://www.scanmyessay.com/plagiarism/consequences-of-plagiarism.php#:~:text=Plagiarism%20can%20get%20you%20expelled,action%3B%20fines%20and%20penalties%20etc.

Fines & Penalties: "Most cases of plagiarism are considered misdemeanors, punishable by fines of anywhere between $100 and $50,000 — and up to one year in jail. Plagiarism can also be considered a felony under certain state and federal laws." -https://www.ithenticate.com/plagiarism-detection-blog/bid/52974/Plagiarism-Punishment#.X8xG3NhKiUk

Below is also a link that goes into more depth about the six MAJOR consequences of Plagiarism:

    https://www.ithenticate.com/resources/6-consequences-of-plagiarism

Below is a link to the author who was, unfortunately, a victim of plagiarism. I would love it if you all could go and show her your support/love. For those curious about WHO stole her work, I will not be disclosing their username as I do not want to give them any more attention they do not deserve. To my knowledge, they have created a new account on Inkitt where they have uploaded to other stories, as to if those are also plagiarized, I haven't a clue. But again, their username will not be disclosed.

She is also available on Wattpad, Quotev, and GoodNovel, under the same username EndmostMars.

  • Her Name is Samantha

Good morning, everyone. Today's story is quite the heart wrenching one, this story regards the trans-community set in a time where people were less accepting of this transition. We deal with a lot of hate, animosity, and ignorance and I hope those who are struggling with self-acceptance or acceptance of any kind, take the time to read this story and seek some solace.

This story is called "Her Name is Samantha" it is written by an Inkitt author known as Mika Franolich. I really hope you guys take the time to go to this author's page and show it some love and read this story for yourselves. I promise you it is going to be well worth the read.
