If I had a nickel for every time there was an alcohol related disaster in the British Isles, I'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

How many alcohol related disasters did you know about before reading that? Because we knew of zero. Besides alcohol poisoning. And all the times we had one too many after our favorite contestant won the Great British Bakeoff.

Today's all about the London beer flood of 1814 and the Dublin Whiskey Fire of 1875.

Who doesn't like a good ghost story, amirite???? If the subject of "ghosts" is why you clicked this episode. . . you're actually kinda outta luck! Today Godmother Mal will tell you all about the female serial killer/psycho that absolutely terrorized 3 European countries over the course of 15 years. Her legendary rampage earned her the title of "The Phantom of Heilbronn" (AKA "The Faceless Woman").

There's nothing to pair with this episode, we got lazy <3

PS: can you catch all the times I (Mal) mispronounced the words “professional” and “manufactured”?

What's up bitches? I, Godmother Mal, am about to bring you an epic episode all about (please guess this right) . . . TUNNELS! These are supposed to be some of the most haunted tunnels in North America. Who decides these are the most haunted???? How do they decide what "most haunted" means???? Don't worry, we provide our theories on  the subject.

Now, sure, tunnels are scary. But you know what else is scary? Eating something and having no idea what it is! To pair with our story, we tried a Japanese KitKat we got while visiting Chicago! What flavor, you ask? I wish we knew!

Disclaimer: WWII is a topic for this episode.

Hi friends! Godmother Mal is here to tell you the story of her new personal hero! Noor Inayat Khan was an ordinary woman who did extraordinary things. Through her courage, strength, and conviction to serve the greater good, Noor became a WWII hero.

To all female veterans of WWII (alive or otherwise . . . since you're most likely 90+ years old) . . . you were not recognized enough and we sincerely thank you for serving.

Back in 1768, Ruth Blay was the last woman to be executed in New Hampshire. What was the crime she was charged with, you ask?  The crime of giving birth without “officially” telling anyone she was pregnant.

This episode, we do a deep dive on the batshit crazy laws surrounding sex during ye olden times (18th century colonial America).

Our snack: Pumpkin chocolate chip cookie from Crumbl.

It's a real dark one today, guys. Kennedy Ife was a young man from Enfield, UK (the same place where one of the most famous poltergeist hauntings took place????) For Kennedy, what started off as a sore throat spiraled into something incredibly dark and life threatening. Within 9 days, Kennedy's family became convinced he was possessed by an evil entity and attempted an exorcism that resulted in Kennedy's death.

Drink: Pumpkin Spice Tonic by Orca Beverage Inc.

Stay safe! Love you guys!
