Brought to you by METAL!

Available wherever you consume podcasts.

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast - Episode 92.

This week the guys give you a brief history of Santa Claus. It's pretty damn interesting, actually. More than we thought it would be.

One more episode to go this year, and next week is going to be a full-blown year-end review-a-palooza with some very special guest hosts to help us out. We are excited, and we know you'll love these last two episodes of 2021. Happy Holidays Scatterbrains!

For Zoe and Stanley. We love and miss you both.

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 91: Christmas In Zombie-Land (and other holiday classics).

This week we talk about what's new in our lives, but more importantly we talk about Christmas movies! The classics as well as our personal favorite holiday flicks. Dan may be turning into Clark Griswold, but Ian just wants it to end!

Thanks for listening and supporting us! We do this because it's fun, but mostly to make someone out there smile and realize they aren't alone in this crazy world.

Please listen, like, follow, share, give a thumb's up, leave a comment, or just pray for our misguided souls. That also works.

Happy Holidays everyone!

I love you Stan.

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 90!

This week's dose of holiday cheer is brought to you by the Krampus.

First, we talk about holiday parties, gift exchanges, and our plans for the holidays. Next, we review the self-titled album "Genocide Pact" from Genocide Pact (@genocidepact) and discuss the legend of the Krampus.

Happy holidays Scatterbrains - Thanks for listening!

This week we talk about all kinds of things: Dan's frustration, Ian's trip to Colorado, new music & upcoming live shows, dogs vs. cats, and more.

While we're at it, we also review "Hideous Entity", the latest release from Hyperdonia.

We've got some fun things planned for the month of December, so stay tuned.

Giving thanks with Ian's tribute to Stanley. A monument in words to eternal love.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And to all else outside of the United States: Happy Holidays! We wish you peace, happiness, and all our best. Be good to yourself, and be good to others. The cosmos sees all that you do, and who you are inside. Be kind.

I love you Stan.

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 88! We welcome back for his fifth visit on the show, Rodrigo ( "Shakal" ), lead guitarist for the Brazilian metal-masters Mofo. And for his second visit, we are honored to welcome back Mofo vocalist Emiliano ( "The Voice" ) who joins us from Germany. If you like good conversation, and the power of music to draw four like-minded people together in friendship, then you'll love this episode!

We focus on our feelings and impressions of the new and highly anticipated album "Persona Non Grata", from old-school thrashers, Exodus. And then we talk about "doppelgangers". Not just what they are, but OURS! Yes, all four of us have them - and two of us more than the others ( hint: it's Emiliano and Dan ). We also talk about...well, you name it! From the current state of the world, vaccines and crazy conspiracy beliefs, how college has been treating the guys, recent Mofo band news, movies, math as truth in the universe, ET visitation, and more! When Shakal and Ian get to talking, the fucking apocalypse can't shut them up!

The Scatterbrains have nothing but mad respect and love for these guys. If you haven't heard their epic album "Sick and Insane" yet... WTF is wrong with you? Seriously. Get with the program!

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast - Episode 87: Glitches In The Matrix.

Thanks for hanging tough through a pretty brutally sad period for Ian. But, life is a tragic comedy, and Scatterbrains have to find and create happiness and joy whenever and wherever they can. Grief can't destroy a Scatterbrain! Thank you all for listening and supporting us. It means everything to us!

First we blather about the Mars Curiosity Rover, a correction from last episode about Aaron Rodgers, and what would happen if every person on Earth jumped into the oceans of the world.

Then we review the new album "Malignant Reality" from the New Jersey trio Replicant.

And finally, we have a fun discussion on so-called glitches in the matrix. De Ja Vu, missing time, premonitions, synchronicity, birds and airplanes frozen in mid-air, and Dan and Ian's own experiences with odd and inexplicable happenings. Welcome to the simulation. Get used to it.

This was a really fun episode to record. We hope you enjoy it!

Open your mind, put your thinking cap on, and buckle up. This might be too much info for you.

This is the kind of shit that rattles around in a Scatterbrain.

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 86 - Scatterbrains On the Go, Vol. 1!

We took last week off in honor of Stanley.  Thank you for hanging in there with us.

This week, we're back, and we're trying something new: Every now and then, we'll embark on an adventure and record a podcast while we're doing it. These episodes will be recorded on a phone while out and about in the land of the living.

We jump into this new concept with a trip to the lake to drink some beers and talk about all kinds of random things from seed banks and Netflix, to space probes and the Awesome 80's. We even brush up against the limits of our credo, "No politics". It was a perfect day to be at the lake, so expect more of these from your Scatterbrains On the Go.
