On this week’s episode, we talk cooking at home. Truth is, my mom never really wanted me in the kitchen. It was small and with a house full of people running in and out, she probably just wanted me out the way. However, in retrospect, I wish we would have spent time together in that space. I would have loved to learn those recipes by heart, working at her side. If I could have developed her level of patience, it definitely would help me now with my sweet potato pies.
