Tonight’s guests are Matt Lohr and Diane O’Bannon, who are here to tell us about Dan O’Bannon’s Guide to Screenplay Structure. Matt started the book with Dan O’Bannon (Alien), and completed it after his death. This is an amazing book for those who want to write screenplays (or really anything!) and the story behind its creation is well worth a listen!

Tonight’s guest is artist Tom Zotos, who tells us about his amazing career with companies like Hard Rock Cafe, Warner Brothers, Disney, and Lucasfilm. From his website:

He led a quiet revolution creating “Pop Imagery” from cartoons, comics, and movies to the world of fine art. Tonight’s guest is Rob Smales, one of the New England Horror Writers. He not only gave Zombrarian a chance say the phrase, “utterly charming Christmas ghost story,” but also provided a lovely bio that I’ll just leave here for you:

Rob Smales, though 42, is a new writer who just enjoys telling stories. His newer short fiction can be found in Wicked Seasons: the Journal of New England Horror Writers, Dark Bits, Death by Drive-In, and the Demonic Visions series. When not spending time with his young son or writing short, somewhat random fiction, he spends his spare time working on a series of original ghost story anthologies, the first of which is titled The Dead of Winter.

We talk about his  book, Left Hand Path, the third novella in the Crooked Paths Through Cedar Grove series, which will be released in February 2014.
