In a departure from our usual format, almost the entire cast converged upon the Area 51 compound for the first time, but Java who was measuring Crop Circles. The super secret underground laboratory and Table Tennis Pavilion was also opened to our guests, writes Greg Norris and Laura Van Vleet and Browncoats Redemption Editor and Puffs Plus Poster Boy Andrew Marnik. In our round table discussion recap of the week, we talked about Double Midnight’s 8th Birthday Party, the rumors of Peter Jackson directing The Hobbit, the hue and cry for a producer for the oft discarded Wonder Woman Movie project. Fox is attempting to ruin another classic, The Martian Chronicles, The Henson Studios announce Dark Crystal II and the Green Hornet Trailer is released.
In our second half, Greg and Laura regale us with stories of Trek and Hollywood from their perspective and what it was like to work in that system. Andrew brings us an update on the finishing being done on Browncoats Redemption and preorders for the film.

Talkin’ about what’s new this week, a porn Avatar movie, Buffy is too old school for sparkly vampires, Plan 9 From Outer Space to be colorized and remastered in 3-D, and some uber-cool merch on a site called Quantum Mechanix. Our show tonight begins with a look back as we say farewell to Jeanne Robinson. Joining us is George O’Connor, Producer/Director of the hilarious web series 664 – Neighbor of the Beast. In the first segment we talk about the ending of a shining star in our universe, Jeanne Robinson and what having known Her and Spider has meant to all of us on the show. To lighten the tone we also take some shots at ABC, and the alleged rumor that Dennis Hopper spurred on UFO research with his inclusion of a scene in East Rider. The second half of the show is spent with George talking about his web series 664, how it began, where it is now, and where its going in the coming months. Chris Proulx dropped in to talk about The Granite State ComiCon and some of the special events happening. “Pat, can I get a ruling” is the new catch phrase. Discussion was somber about the death of Frank Frazetta, an artist who will be sorely missed. In the second half of tonight’s cast, we were joined by Ed & Adrienne Ludvigsen, creators of the alternate history internet game site, What Happened to Sarah.

Our guests for tonight’s ‘Cast Hunter Liguore, editor of The Last Man Standing Anthology. We had an absolutely charming discussion with her about her work, the anthology and what was coming up in the process. Travis Roy joined us from Granite State Skeptics to talk about his upcoming panel at Granite State Comicon on May 23, 2010.
In cinema news, we talked about movies clustering for summer 3012, to include Battleship, Dark Knight 3, ST2, Spidey Reboot and Avengers. The new trailer for Trek Nation is garnering some serious acclaim. New footage of Metropolis has been found. Turning to TV, if there is a reason for genre television to die ungracefully, Heroes season 5 is it.Former writer and Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller will be back full time for Volume 5, though it may be too late for most of us. We had a round robin on an article about Joss Weadon’s Top 6 Character Deaths. SyFy’s latest idea, a cooking show? Enjoy.

Our Auction for Jeanne Robinson Cancer Fund was officially posted on our website, and we got a few minutes to talk about what the pieces looked like. A shout out to Boing Boing and Cory Doctorow for their support and Browncoats Redemption for their help as well. We also talked about the Boston Independent Film Festivals premiere of Drones Directed by Amber Benson and Adam Busch wishing them the best of luck. In Doctor Who news, some new video games are coming out and The Doctor is being proposed as the Patron Saint of England. In related news it is with a sigh of relief that we report that FAUX has decided NOT to do an Americanized version of Torchwood. Genre TV has gotten uniformly bad numbers, which have been declining. According to Airlock Alpha rating have been as follows:
