Devon is joined by Ben Lawless on this Stevenless episode. Jeff Bezos wants to land on the moon. Blue Horizon is building a moon lander called Blue Moon. They are trying to get the NASA contract for the upcoming moon missions. We get down to business and dissect the entire season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery. We then talk briefly about The Orville.

There’s no science on this ep as we talk mostly about Avengers: Endgame. But first Devon tells us about his recent move and Steven tells us about his wife going away to some kind of summer camp. Then it’s down to business. There are tons of spoilers so only listen if you’ve already seen Endgame, or if you don’t care about the MCU (but then why would you listen to this episode in the first place?). Enjoy!

o Devon this week, instead we're joined once again by Benjamin Daniel Lawless! Ben tells us about the Apollo 11 documentary that he recently watched. Ben also recently visited the California Science Center and among other exhibits, saw the Space Shuttle Endeavor. We revisit episode 1 and 2 of the current season of Game of Thrones be giving our spoiler filled reactions to the 3rd episode. That's sci-fi, right?

Devon’s going to Vegas for his anniversary and Steven is excited about Celebration. Scientists print first 3D heart using patient’s biological materials. A biosynthetic dual-core cell computer. Need we say more? Game of Thrones is finally back! We review episode 1 of this season (SPOILERS). We talk a little about the Rise of Skywalker. We also touch on The Mandelorian, Disney Plus, and Devon’s progress in learning to play piano.

Steven is sick, and has two kids. Devon’s mom is in town. There is a new drug resistant fungi that is spreading everywhere and hard to kill. We talk about the picture of the black hole that we’ve all seen by now. Devon has already read the new Expanse book. Steven’s been reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. We also talk a little about Game of Thrones (prior to the new episode).

Steven talks about a stressful family trip. Devon learns that people on the internet suck. Steven talks about Fallout 76 before we get into the science. Woman with novel gene mutation lives almost pain free. We discuss the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame. We talk about the new Netflix show of short stories about love, death and robots. We talk about our favorite episodes. A lot of these episodes were based on our favorite sci-fi authors’ short stories.

We talk about the state of the world before getting into the science. Scientists have developed a way to harness sea water to make hydrogen. Scientists studied the effect of death metal music on people’s emotions/whether it desensitizes fans to violence. James Gunn is back on Guardians Volume 3. Disney finally owns Fox so the X-Men can come to the MCU. Steven has finally watched more Orville and likes it. Devon then talks about the Discovery as he finally got caught up.

Devon starts off with some spoilers for Archer. We then jump right into the science. Our brains are naturally self-centered. A robotic leg, born without prior knowledge, learns to walk. We talk about Star Trek: Discovery and Captain Marvel. We have lots of spoilers.

We haven’t really done anything new since the last recording. Recycling has not been working. Dinosaurs were thriving before asteroid strike that wiped them out. Devon plans on re-watching Infinity War before Endgame. We discuss what movies end on real cliff-hangers.
