Martin Landry is in pursuit of Paul but does not yet catch him.  But while Paul is heading for the Boardwalk, he takes a slight detour into a cave, and Martin Landry follows. 

Casinos in Space, Chapter 20, Paul's Escape.  Paul finally escapes from the locals, only to fall down a rabbit hole and doesn't make it to the Boardwalk.

Mark and Barry play a little roulette, and then meet their wives at the casino buffet for dinner.
