This is a short chapter, about 8 minutes, when Paul and Slim leave the Boardwalk only to get captured by the Vegan inhabitants.

Casinos in Space Chapter 10, Episode 11, Chaos.  While Slim and Paul are on Vega One dealing with the rebelling inhabitants, an explosion happens on the Las Vegas starship.

Chapter 9 continues with Slim and Paul stealing a shuttle from The Last Vegas, and flying ahead to the resort planet, Vega One.

The group of scientists have a relaxing buffet in the Luxor casino with some exotic foods.  Then they watch a news report about unrest from the inhabitants of Vega 1 and Vega 2, and later, Paul Erickson disappears.

This is a serialization of my novel, Casinos in Space published in 2019, and is now offered as a free audio book. A group of scientists who travel with their wives on a starship to a distant planet for gambling and relaxation. While on the ship, they live in a replica of the Las Vegas Strip enjoying gambling, great buffets and fine restaurants. Paul Erickson, one of the members, reluctantly goes on the vacation because he is grieving the death of his brother from brain cancer.

Chapter 7: Spy by Night

Mark and Barry are looking for Paul, and run into the weird guy, who was injured by a giant mosquito living in a maintenance area below the monorail system.  The plot thickens!

Casinos in Space, Chapter 6, Where's Paul, Episode 7. This is free science fiction novel audio book serialized on Anchor.  Follow a group of scientists traveling on the starship Las Vegas to distant planets for rest and relaxation. In this chapter, the main character, Paul Erickson, is missing, and his friends start searching the ship for Paul.

Casinos in Space, Chapter 5, First Stop, Episode 6

The first stop, for the Las Vegas, is a resort planet, with a nice beach, and of course, a buffet.  The plot thickens because weird Martin Landry is making friends with the scientists from Detroit.

Casinos in Space, Chapter 4, Bugged.  Episode 5

This episode is really about bugs. Mosquitoes, that is!  This is one important scene in the book; and is referenced later. Though we had never gone on a sea cruise, the book parallels ocean travel, except our stops are planet resorts, of course, with casinos.  We eventually went on a few cruises starting in 2009, which help me with the book's structure, but the plot was consummated in 1999 when a close friend, Bruce, died of a brain tumor.  I suddenly had a purpose for the book, a solid direction.  Writing helped me express my feelings about his death, and I had a better plot, not just casino gambling and the food, which is fun, but something to care about, and we see how Paul Erickson, brother of Daniel, dealt with his feelings. Some of the scenes, are memories of Bruce's struggle with cancer and how his brother, Eric, also a close friend, reacted.  It was an awful time, especially when Bruce had surgery to remove one of the tumors, but that paralyzed him on one side.
