Scientific Community Divided on Climate; World Recycling | Guests: B. Cohen, PhD; S. Pruitt

Dr. Bonner Cohen, Senior Policy Analyst at the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, joins Jacki to review the “No Climate Emergency” international declaration signed by 1,600 scientists and professionals - including two Nobel Laureates - at the Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL). The declaration makes clear that climate change is not at a dangerous level, much less a crisis, and that carbon dioxide is required for all life on earth. - - - - - Scott Pruitt, former EPA Administrator, is working on a new global recycling plan for Americans’ used clothes and shoes. Green Team Worldwide refurbishes used goods and ships them around the world to those most in need, while offering a revenue stream to business owners who will donate space for collection bins. - - - - - The younger generation has checked its brains at the virtual door. Rather than reading articles, books, or primary source materials (do they even know what those are???) to check the accuracy of claims from talking heads, they merely do a ten second Google search to consult self-appointed, anonymous “fact checkers” who shut down all critical thinking with a misleading headline.  Jacki urges parents to call BS on this misinformation campaign.
