When high dollar vintage cars change hands, its customary that the buyer sends an expert to verify the authenticity of the given vehicle. Kobus is that expert and have handled some seriously rare and special cars in his days. One would think that there is just two categories: real or fake. But as we soon learn, its not quite that simple. His expertise was built up in years searching the world for untouched Volkswagens and rare parts. His journey started with fixing and selling mopeds with a set goal to get is own beetle. His sensibility and nose for the finer things, and emerging trends led him in on a path to hard core Cal-look, even before the drivers license was in hand. Kobus puts it down to meeting the right people at the right time, but no one has this kind of luck! An driven enthusiast with a eye for details - A born Authenticator!
