For the Galaxy Bowl, an injured Quentin Barnes has turned over the quarterbacking reins to Becca the Wrecka Montagne, but he’ll be damned if he’ll stay off the field for what might very well be his last game ever. He has spent five years building a true team, and that’s critical, because only with a pure team effort can the Krakens defeat Don Pine and the Jupiter Jacks. Will the Krakens repeat as Galaxy Bowl champions?

The Krakens were preparing for the Galaxy Bowl when explosions rocked The Touchback, the team ship. Jonathan Sandoval had infiltrated the ship in an effort to kill Quentin Barnes. Quentin survived the attempt, but several others died in the sabotage and the fighting. Now the young quarterback must deal with his grief and his wounds, as he tries to prepare for the GFL’s championship game against Don Pine and the Jupiter Jacks.

During the Galaxy Bowl press day onboard the Touchback, Quentin, Nancy Wolf, Trevor Haney, Hokor the Hookchest, Virak the Mean, and Gredok the Splithead were in a private meeting in the ship’s virtual reality practice field.
Captain Kate Cheevers came over the ship’s PA to report a detonation — an explosion somewhere onboard the ship. A second explosion — this time in the VR room itself — knocked Quentin unconscious. In this episode, we learn of the results of this catastrophe.

Last week, Quentin Barnes sat on the bench as Becka “The Wrecka” Montagne lined up at Quarterback and led the undefeated Krakens to a narrow one-point win over Buddha City. Will Quentin’s concussion keep him off the field for this week’s tilt against rival Wabash Wolfpack?

The Krakens are 11-0 and have clinched a playoff berth. But a cheap shot from Yalla the Biter knocked Quentin out cold, giving the Ionath quarterback a concussion. Now Quentin’s health status must be determined by league doctors before he is allowed to play in the regular season — or, possibly, in the playoffs. Will Quentin line up for the Orange and the Black this week, or will one of the backups lead the team against the Buddha City Elite?

It's Week 10 of the GFL season, and only a pair of undefeated teams remain: the Ionath Krakens and the OS1 Orbiting Death — two teams about to square off at Orbital Station One’s “Black Hole.” It’s the biggest rivalry in the league, and it’s about to go down. The winner of the game locks up a playoff berth.

After a bye week, the Krakens remain undefeated at 7-0, and head into a critical matchup against the To Pirates. For the last few weeks of the season, Quentin has been blackmailed by Jonathan Sandoval, sports reporter and agent of the Creterakian Ministry of Religion. Sandoval has threatened to tell the CMR the real size of the Church of Quentin Barnes, a number so high the CMR would immediately order Quentin’s execution.

In the last episode, the mole for the Zoroastrian Guild was uncovered. Now Quentin has to deal with the fallout. He knows all-pro offensive guard Michael Kimberlin and backup defensive lineman Jason Procknow were involved as well. Quentin has to decide if he’ll turn them over to GFL commissioner Rob Froese or if he’ll keep the secret of two men who might be party to murderous terrorist acts.

The Krakens enter the by week undefeated, 7-0, and in sole possession of first place in the Planet Division. Good thing they have the week off, as Quentin is still recovering from the broken collarbone he suffered last week against the D’Oni Ceolocanths. As the Krakens return from that game, Yolanda and Whykor the Aware are finishing up their investigation — who is the Zoroastrian Guild spy?
