Chris McEleny is the SNP Leader of Inverclyde Council and a member of the SNP National Executive Committee.

Along with Angus Brendan MacNeil, Chris has proposed a debate take place at SNP Conference to discuss an alternative legal route to enable independence be voted by the Scottish electorate should Westminster continually refuse to transfer the power to Holyrood to enable a referendum to take place. The original resolution was rejected on the grounds that greater membership communication was needed for such a policy to be considered. It is now hoped to include such a debate within a resolution debating the success of Holyrood this past 20 years.

Chris is visiting SNP branches to talk about Plan B and answer questions in the hope members/branches will follow up and support Plan B.

The second part of Ray’s discussion with Gil Paterson, MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie covered some really interesting topics including the hypocritical voting record of Liberal Democrat party leader Jo Swinson, MP for East Dunbartonshire and what could lie in stock for her in the future. How the state broadcaster and other mainstream media protect unionist politicians. We also hear Gil’s points of view regarding “Plan B” and the current mandate. Should the First Minister be more engaged with the grassroots independence movement. The discussion concluded on the subject of how pensioners could benefit in a future independent Scotland, a WASPI solution and the current pension age disparity

This week Ray met up with Gil Paterson MSP to discuss his thoughts on current matters effecting Scotland including Brexit, the chaotic state of the Westminster government and his warnings about Prime Minister Boris Johnson, We also discussed Westminster taking over the powers of Holyrood and Gil was very specific about the relevance of the democratic deficit to Scots. Finally in part 1 we discussed the Scottish Health Service and the media exposure of new Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson, the MP for East Dunbartonshire.

Bill Mills will be taking us through some of his responses to the SNP's Sustainable Growth Commission report.

He outlines some of the positives to be taken from the report:That Independence is essential for Scotland to flourish That we have an massive amount of assets and resources compared to other comparable independent countries* That we have a substantial proportion of the economic, legal & governmental infrastructure necessary after independence already in place

His areas of concern areHow the report uses unhelpful 'frames' in how it describes Scotland In particular that it accepts Establishment economic frames

Lyne Copland of Garioch Women for Change.Garioch Women for Change have been researching and documentingresearch outcomes on the Scottish Health Service for the past 6months.We want to present this information to the public at the earliest opportunity becauseour research has identified a very real threat to the Scottish Health Service.

• The repatriation and subsequent retention of procurement powers in particularand the use of Henry VIII Laws by Westminster, and the Supreme Court ruling onthe Continuity Bill , which was unanimously voted through by the ScottishParliament,• This means we have to make people aware that the Scottish Health Service maybe at risk of losing its status as a public service.• We have identified that NHS England , has been” privatised by stealth”• Westminster politicians have been legislating to ensure that the (English) HealthService is saleable to private healthcare companies, predominantly in the US.

Pat Lee is very well known within the Scottish independence movement and our series to highlight the work of the grassroots movement continues with the IndyPram podcast.

We learn how Pat first became interested in politics and how an initial success was thwarted by the Labour Party and put him off for years.

The lessons learnt and his future work with the SNP and Solidarity and supporting the fight against a Scottish mainstream media that doesn't represent Scotland.
