It retarded, for nearly a century, the social, moral, and economic progress of what was once one of the most creative countries in the world. Since that time Russia has never produced another Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Turginev or Chekhov.
Despite the failure of communism in Russia, the eastern block, and everywhere else it has been tried such as Cuba and Venezuela, devotees fail to learn the lessons of history and continue to advocate for socialism in the UK, America, Canada, and every Western Nation.
