An artist and his wife acquire a glass paperweight at an antique shop. The artist is convinced there is something inside the ball and develops an obsession with it. After he breaks the ball there are suddenly two murders near by. His wife suspects that her husband has been taken over by an evil spirit.

I'm afraid the chairs aren't very comfortable, but that doesn't matter because in just a moment you'll be sitting on the edge of them. For we'll be bringing you the tale of the thing inside. A strange and potent force sealed up and held in check that cried to be released and once it was freed, brought terror and death to a whole countryside.

What is evil? Is it abstract or concrete? Does it seek us out, or do we seek it? Either way, there is something in all of us that senses its presence, and when we do, most of us draw back from it in fear. But occasionally, for reasons we do not always understand, we are attracted to it and come under its spell, thus freeing it to work its destruction on an unsuspecting world. Our story begins as John and Sarah Farrar get out of their car and walk towards a rather shabby and rundown antique shop in a small New England village.

Peter Jackson seeks revenge on witnesses of his father's murder during a robbery at a grocery store when he was a child. Years later, he believes the witnesses are responsible for his father's death. There are people who suddenly find themselves tortured and taunted by a fragile wisp of a memory. A couple grieves the loss of their daughter in a house fire. A crack in the basement wall of their new house can not be repaired despite several attempts. They begin to hear the cries of their deceased daughter through that crack and meet a strange creature in their basement offering them the ability to bring their daughter back to life. The wife becomes obsessed with the trying to bring the daughter back to life.

Episode Date: April 5, 1945

Abbott and Costello prepare to visit the Andrews Sisters who they want to hire for a future show. Lou runs over Mr and Mrs Niles in a car and a big argument ensues with Mrs Niles. The boys then need to rent a car and perform the U-Drive routine. Along the way the boys car breaks down and an old man takes advantage of them over charging them so he and his horse pull them to the hotel they are staying at.

When they check into the hotel they have to deal with a snooty hotel clerk, they then run into an entertainment agent(Melonhead) who tries to convince them instead of the Andrews Sisters, they should hire the a very bad group The Andrews Brothers instead. One of their funnest episodes.

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star other cast members include Ken Niles, Elvia Allman, Mel Blanc and Will Osborne.

A Chinese proverb holds that nobody's family can hang out the sign, nothing the matter here. There's wisdom in that, don't you agree? Think about your own family. Isn't there at least one skeleton lurking in your closet? At some time and for some reason, it will surely reveal itself. The consequences have raised came with ruling powers, business, and even love between two persons. That is why Dr. Tom Lodge, a young resident in a Boston hospital, has long safeguarded a dark family secret from his wife, Nancy.

When we are young, family, especially our immediate family, is to us the world in microcosm. And we know that we are part of a self-contained unit in which we are fed, clothed, and protected. When we become adults, however, we can view our parents and relatives more objectively. Uncle Bill never was really that amusing, was he? And why did father always unthinkingly vote the straight ticket? Because he read only the sport pages. And so family unity becomes subject to the strains of objective thinking, as we are about to find out.

When his estranged grandmother dies Dr Tom Lodge inherits her entire estate, a small inn and 15 acres of land including a small house where Mrs Meggs lives. However, the estate has to be sold and all the money given to the bank to repay the $75,000 that his father had stolen from it when he worked there as assistant cashier. That was six years ago and neither Tom's father or the money have ever been seen since. Dr Tom Lodge is soon to discover that his long missing father had been murdered. Who murdered his Father and what happened to the stolen fortune?

That wonderful clean aroma of fresh growth mixed with leaf mold and last year's pine needles. The cool touch of grass to your bare feet if you care to take your shoes off. Doesn't sound very mysterious? Doesn't frighten you? Well, stay with us. It will.

I think you'll agree there's nothing more delightful than that first day of vacation. You've shut off all your cares. Your freedom is still new and exhilarating. Your inevitable return to workaday things is too far in the future to dampen your high spirits. Of course, vacations, like other pleasant seeming prospects, may take unpredictable turns. You just can't look more than a few seconds into the future without facing an uncertainty. Ronnie and Peg Andrews have driven all day to get to their chosen vacation spot in the Maine Northwoods.

In spite of an innkeepers' warning, the young couple vacationing in Maine decide to go off on a picnic in Dutchman's Woods, a place were men, and only men, get mysteriously lost. But the husband insists and becomes lost and eventually he stumbles across an old castle and enchantress and siren. Is he doomed to become one more of her victims??
