Our tale is a blood-freezing story inspired by a nursery rhyme, a sweet, simple song. Ring a ring of roses, a pocketful of poses. Achoo! Achoo! We all fall down. It sounds young and innocent, doesn't it? But it is very old and very sinister. For the ring-a-ring of roses were the splotches that first appeared on the faces of those afflicted during the Black Plague. The pocketful of poses were the herbs that were carried, hopefully to ward off the fatal disease. The sneezing sounds, achoo, achoo, were the sounds of the final spasms. And we all fall down was, well, you can guess.

Science has brought most plagues under control, but not so those other epidemics of the past. Those that plague us with their unseen, unknown, and unexpected terrors. This evening we're concerned with bright young men. That is, those who began as bright young men, like Spencer Chadwick. Bright young Spencer Chadwick married his boss's daughter, but that was twenty -three years ago. And today young Spencer has arrived at comfortable middle age.

Molly is making a dress and needless to say Fibber is very curious and tries to talk her out of it. When it is time to start pinning the dress Molly asks Fibber to get her Dressform. Fibber sheepishly tells her the dressform is all chopped up from his using the dummy for knife throwing practice. So much to Fibber's chagrin she decides to use him as her dress dummy instead. Add to that visits from their favorite neighbors. The Old Timer, Dr Gamble, Mr Wilcox, Ollie, Mayor LaTrivia. Needless to say the episode turns into hilarity.

Molly is tired of Fibber wearing the same old suit everyday. So Molly invites a new tailor in town, Mr Gusset over to measure him up. Needless to say Fibber objects until Mr Gusset starts complimenting Fibber into agreeing. Fibber and Molly get shocked by the price he is charging, but after some arguing, Mr Gusset tells Fibber If he can send 10 customers his way he will make the suit for free.

Fibber being the cheapskate that he is starts a phone campaign and as per usual hijinx occurs. Visits from their favorite neighbors, Dr Gamble, The Old Timer, Mr Wilcox, Millicent Carstairs, Mayor LaTrivia.
