Scottsdale Bible Church Sermon Video

What happens when our passion for ourselves collides with God's passion for himself? This message explains our choice between feeling offended and acting out of a passion for ourselves, or being the bearers of God's grace, acting out of a passion for God.

Is happiness the purpose of marriage or are we part of something greater than ourselves? If God actually "joins us" together, has He created something new with a greater purpose? What did He have in mind when we said, "I do"?

Taking into account the entirety of the Biblical witness we will attempt to add some clarity and definition to this age-old, trans-cultural issue of submission.

This message will focus on living and doing right so we can impact our culture when we allow our actions to speak louder than our words.

This message will explore what it means to be a "royal priesthood...a chosen race...a holy nation...proclaiming His excellencies"-in short, the "PEOPLE OF GOD."

This message portrays Christ as the Foundation-Living Cornerstone, the Fissure-Stumbling Stone; the Future-Precious Stone Forever.

The Bible makes clear that the HEART of our commitment to God and others is LOVE. This message will explore this often-heard call to love: what it is and how to do it.

This message will help us clearly understand both God's call to holiness, as well as what holiness is-and isn't. It will also help believers know how to live a life of holiness.

This message lays out what it means to have "an inheritance" (1:4) that will never perish or fade. Not stopping there, it will also help believers know what "proof...of faith" (1:7) is needed to be assured that one's salvation is real and true.

Peter devotes almost a third of his first chapter outlining God's plan for salvation-including how one can be assured of salvation and know that he/she has life eternal. This message will lay out what it means to be "born again" (1:3).
