Sometimes getting advice from others can be tricky, especially if the advice is not what the other wanted to hear, or the information is not delivered by an expert. Despite Scotty Ray’s claims of match-making abilities, giving advise to others is a whole different thing. Regardless, one of our listeners have emailed wanting advise on whether someone should let an ex-spouse store stuff at their house. This will definitely be interesting advise. Back in the day it was exciting to hear those famous words “you got mail.” Dating was basically old school even when you could get a message through the computer. Now dating can be done directly through an app on your computer. On-line dating is a billion dollar business with millions of people seeking that perfect date and perfect mate. Unfortunately for thousands, their on-line date was anything but perfect. Yes, it did seem that way in the beginning. For some, it was almost too good to be true. And that’s exactly what it was. To good to be true.

Too many of our youths are taking their own life. The mystery is why? Perhaps it’s depression, the loss of something significant and meaningful to them, or maybe it’s just because life has been painted in their minds to be perfect. After all isn’t that what we portray on social media? Posting that perfect photo of that perfect trip, party, or event. But is that too much pressure to be perfect in an imperfect world?

Ready for the super bowl? Are you having a super bowl party with friends, or are you lucky enough to be watching it in person? If lucky enough to get to go to the game and watch in person even the nose bleed seats are extremely expensive. The super bowl is one of the most watched events on television. Just to air a 30 second ad can be as much as 6 million dollars. Every thing about the super bowl is expensive. But then again it’s the SUPER bowl.

Almost 50 percent of marriages in the US will end in divorce or separation. That’s not very good odds. Secondly, a large portion of those divorces are not amicable ones. Some people will go to extreme measures to make sure the other party is damaged financially, emotionally, or even physically. And that doesn’t even begin to describe the hurt and pain of children of parents going through a divorce.

How many times have you had to get on to your kids for fighting? Most siblings grow up to have close, loving relationships. But some have fallouts due to a conflict over parenting differences, beliefs, political views, how to care for an elderly parent, or how to handle a family estate. Some never recover from this and become bitter enemies. Even famous people have siblings they are at war with. Are there things that siblings can do to eventually mend fences and repair a damaged relationship? We can only hope.

Ever encountered a cougar before? Not the one that walks on four legs but one that walks on two. Yes, a female that is interested in meeting, dating, and possibly marrying a much younger man. By definition a cougar is one that is in pursuit or interested in a male at least ten years younger. And interesting enough some men would be interested in dating a cougar. Perhaps you know a cougar or are one yourself.

Ever wondered what the lyrics of your favorite song meant? Perhaps the lyrics were about a breakup or a relationship on the rocks. Some lyrics are more trickier than that, and some of the lyrics to our favorite songs mean something entirely different than what we thought. Some are just down right crazy.

Sometimes we wish we had not said those harsh words to our friend, made that spur of the moment purchase, or continued to pull the lever on the slot machine. Regardless the reason, we all have regrets. Some are big and some are small. Some we learn from and some we continue to make.
