Years ago Bill Cosby was a household name. He was either on a commercial promoting Jello or he was on your TV set as the all American dad. Boy have times changed. Many women alleged that they were raped at the hands of the all American dad. Bill Cosby even spent time in prison after being convicted. But now he is out, at home, due to a technicality. Is that justice? Was he wrongly convicted? Do people still see him as the role model he was in years past? Does he deserve a second chance, after his claim of rehabilitation?

Why do so many parents act so hostile at their children’s sporting events? Isn’t sports supposed to be fun? What happened to just having fun? Just being kids? What lessons do kids learn when their own parents yell, scream, and even fight each other during a ballgame? What makes parents so angry? When did sports become so important for parents, and less fun for kids? Perhaps parents could take lessons from their own children and focus their energy in making sure sports are about friendships, sportsmanship, and good ole fashion fun.

Are you dating a loser? Everyone dreams of meeting that wonderful mate. Unfortunately some people end up with someone that’s more work than what they expected, or not quite the mate they had hoped. But, are there warning signs to help identify a loser? You bet!

Do you believe that men and women are created equal? Not in terms of intelligence but physically? Meaning does the average man have more strength and muscle mass than the average female? And what if that man now identifies as a female? Should they be able to compete in female sports? Is that fair? After all, females are now competing in sports that ten years ago were 100% male participants. Every person has the right to identify as they see fit, but what happens when those around them are uncomfortable?

Ever had a time where you received too much money from your local cashier or fast food drive through? Hopefully you returned the money. Believe it or not people have had millions deposited in their account that didn’t belong to them, or was not a transaction they initiated. As crazy as that sounds it does happen. Although tempting, the money is not theirs to spend. That didn’t stop some from trying.

Can you tell when someone is telling you the truth or not? Sometimes it is so easy. The stories are so unbelievable, but other times it’s not so easy. And we want to believe the person is being truthful, especially if it is someone near and dear to us. If only there were ways to indicate deceit. Well, there are. Listen in as we talk about several signs to look for to detect if someone is lying.

Ever heard someone say they think two women in the same room, office, or party are about to have a cat fight? Most people understand that does not mean two cats. That literally means two, or more, women are going at it with each other. If you have not witnessed this it can get ugly quick. Women fighting can be a lot more brutal than men fighting. And women don’t walk away and get over it, like most men do. Some say women are protecting their possessions, the things and the people they cherish. Others think it’s women’s hormones and the inability to be rational and calm in sticky situations. Regardless, some just want to grab a cold drink and watch it go down.

Are there things that others do that drive you crazy? If so, you are not alone. Most people have things that drive them crazy when others do them or don’t do them. It can be as simple as leaving the toilet seat up, or perhaps interrupting someone when talking. People can just get on your last nerve. It’s hard to admit that more and more Americans have exotic animals, such as tigers, lions, snakes, birds, monkeys, and whatever else they can get their hands on as pets. But one has to ask why? How can anybody think that having a wild animal as a pet is normal, much less safe, or even fair to the animal? Yet every year we hear crazy but sad stories of wild animals, labeled family pets, that has attacked and sometimes killed their caretakers. Why do so many people have fascinations with these animals and think they must possess one? And this fascination extends beyond the home. Every year someone feels the need to go beyond the normal visit to the zoo, tempt fate, and get in the cages with these animals. Crazy!

Stimulus checks and unemployment sure did help millions of Americans that found themselves out of work. But for other Americans it meant making more money to stay at home than return to work. Is that how the money was intended? Who can say for sure, but now we find we have a shortage of workers, and as a result, many businesses have closed their doors. Should we have seen that coming? Can we get workers to return to work? How many incentives must we provide, and will that be enough?
