Since then we've been adventuring though the streets of NYC on his frequent trips from Portland. Every time we go out he seems to have a new body of work. We are talking about the advancement in his work, new techniques he's using and the difference between the street art scene in Portland and NYC.

This week I’m talking with artist and musician Eric Eigner. We’re talking about how to keep the creative balance  between multiple art forms. What he’s learned in his over 20 years of creating art and music in NYC including his years of making street art in the form of deatailed rhythmically patterned  chalk drawings. As well as what he’s learned  by traveling and photographing the world. He’s also the artist for April on the AM Artstop mural wall at 2nd Ave and Houston in Manhattan.

This week I’m talking to my grandma Ivy Covill about her experience as an immigrant coming to the US with her family from London.  I wanted to share her story for those of us that see so many going through this experience right now but can’t imagine what people are going through or the decisions they have to make.
