Pam Ross has created a style of music all her own.  She blends her influences of rock, americana, and country into something fans are calling Pam Music. 

Pam was born in Pittsburgh, PA but lived most of her life in Houston, TX where she launched her music career.  She first exposed the world to her original songs through open mic venues. After quickly gaining a reputation as an energetic performer and soulful songwriter, Pam began touring throughout Texas.

Pam later moved to Nashville and became recognized as one of the up-and-coming songwriters to watch.  She performed numerous times at the renowned Blue Bird Cafe and other local clubs in the Nashville area. Roger Sovine, then A&R president of BMI, took an interest in her career and began booking her in BMI showcases.  Her lucky break came when she met with country songwriting legend and senior director of A&R at Mercury Records, Gary Harrison.  He was impressed with Pam’s songwriting and vocal power and offered her a record deal.  Unfortunately, the music business is a fickle world and sadly the offer never came to fruition.

Pam and her wife, Elissa, moved to Fuquay Varina, NC in June of 2020 during the pandemic.  Pam found herself feeling lost and realized she needed to get back to playing music. She began writing songs again and playing out at open mics in 2021. 

In June 2022, she gathered up some incredible musicians and began recording ten songs at Goodluck Studio in Chapel Hill, NC.  The album is called “When Therapy Fails” and her first single, “Fire In The Hole,” was released November 28. The music video followed on Jan 6 and the song received rave reviews from radio and top playlisters.  The music video, produced by Rob Underhill and Evelyn Putnam, received Official Selection in the Europe Music Awards and has also been nominated for Best Music Video in the Carolina Film Festival 2023 and the Franklin Flix Indie Film Festival 2023. 

Her latest single and video is “No One Around.”

Harry Kappen is a Dutch musician and musictherapist. His first love is the guitar, but gradually he

discovered the bass. Now you can safely call him a multi-instrumentalist. His work as a music

therapist requires him to be able to play a variety of instruments, including voice, in order to

connect with his clients in different ways. This is necessary both in the treatment of individual

clients and in system therapy (for example, in dysfunctional families).

On his latest album 'Escape' and seperate single 'Wargames' he sings and plays every instrument

himself in combination with the use of digital sounds from Logic Pro.

Harry played in many bands in the Netherlands and throughout Europe. He composed his first song

when he was 10 years old. He played with his sister Hanneke in Kapsonic and released an album

with her about 6 years ago, called 'Kapsonic'.

Harry is an admirer of David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Prince, Radiohead, Scandinavian pop music

by Björk and Motorpsycho. Sometimes their music reflects in Harry's eclectic music.

In spring '22 he self-released an album called 'Escape'. 'Barefoot in the dew' was the only single

from this album so far. The Escape album is a concept album. With songs about escaping reality,

escaping violence, even life, escaping into love, dreams or art. It became a personal journey with

personal lyrics.

Then in the spring Russia attacked Ukraine and the atmosphere in Europe changed completely.

During the summer, Harry realized that there were no protest songs in the Dutch charts. In general

you could say that musicians do not speak out against abuses and threats, while there is reason

enough to protest, you would think. (Ukrainian war, climate change, fake news, ignorance, etc).

How different it was in the 60s and 70s during the Vietnam War.

So Harry made a new song and released it a few weeks ago. Hence 'Wargames'.

John Dorsch...

As a teenager, using pennies to slow down his vinyl records to try and get "that sound" on his Les Paul, led him to Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Rush, The Beatles etc. Fast forward after 45 years of electric / acoustic guitar and drum playing, John Dorsch’s passion for music has expanded to include Fingerstyle guitar. Inspired by his mentor Tommy Emmanuel, exposure to Jerry Reed and Merle Travis, the challenge of moving strings to a different sound is exhilarating!

After decades of playing lead electric guitar in local bands, John shifted gears and began an acoustic duo and stepped into singing lead. His musical journey into songwriting and recording now focuses on acoustic fingerstyle guitar and electric guitar. Currently, his wife Dani accompanies him on African Djembe drum and percussion with blended harmony vocals.

John and Dani’s motto : "Let's put smiles on faces!"

Ottawa Valley, Ontario, Canada is where John has spent most of his life, and he continues to make the Rideau Lakes area his home.

“Peaceful summer nights and loon songs paired with winter travel to other parts of the world provide great inspiration for songwriting,” John says.
