“This could be the real thing. There is no where else but right here right now.” Over Memorial Day weekend at Movement 2015 (or as I prefer to call it Detroit Electronic Music Festival), my cousin filled me in on all that Giorgio Moroder represents, is credited with, and is still producing. Like many people my generation and younger, I just didn’t realize all that he has accomplished and has influenced. So I have been obsessing over his music ever since. The coincidence is I was already planning this disco revival thing for my Pride gig but things were just not jelling. My spirit guides must have channeled Giorgio through my cousin because everything for this set fell into place better than I had anticipated. So enjoy this set as a tribute to Giorgio, a shout out to Dimitri From Paris and a preview of my summer 2015 tracks. In case you didn’t know that Love and House are timeless dancefloor partners, this set will explain it all.

It helps us both explore our love for others and find personal refuge. A great House DJ can deliver both experiences to the dancefloor simultaneously. I know I often make comments on how much I love my latest set. I guess if I didn’t I wouldn’t post them. But this one offers a unique mix from so many different periods in House Music’s short history: “Make it Right,” “What a surprise,” World Go Round”.... “Playin’ my music helps me from feelin’ down.” Every summer I fall in love all over again with the Lake Michigan coast and beaches. I believe it is one of a few places in the US where you can watch truly watch the sun set with it slowly fading away as it inches off the horizon. It is such a sight. When i am in the presence of such an awesome sight, I feel so small in comparison to sun and lake but it's so magnificent that I feel on top of the world. This is how I feel at a great House party. Just one in the crowd but at times I feel the music is being played just for me. In Michigan the summer sun doesn't go down until 10, serving as the best lighting design for a groovy House party on the beach.
