  • 229: THE BYE BYE MAN (2017) with CINDY KINNARD-DIAMOND & STACY PARKER “Creepy Kitch” [Pod-a-Thon: Day 3]
THE BYE BYE MAN is one of the worst horror movies to get a mainstream release in ages. The best company, therefore, would be guests who would pull no punches.  And CINDY KINNARD-DIAMOND and STACY PARKER from CREEPY KITCH are exactly the perfect guests.

  • 228: DAVE MADE A MAZE (2017) with CHRISTOPHER GRONLUND “Not About Lumberjacks” & MICHAEL HOWIE “Defender Radio” [Pod-a-Thon: Day 2]
For this leg of our voyage through the unknown, we are talking about a movie, while even though it cannot remotely be classified as horror,  it manages encapulates the spirit that drives Halloween: the spirit of unbridled imagination and creativity that begets a world where anything can happen.Where's that beard at?
I'm joined by very special guests CHRISTOPHER GRONLUND from the NOT ABOUT LUMBERJACKS podcast and MICHAEL HOWIE from DEFENDER RADIO.

  • 226: A SOFT, MOIST OPENING – ScreamQueenz Turns Inside Out
While the show is back in production, it's not the glitzy splashy relaunch I had hoped for.
In business terms, this is a "soft opening".
In ScreamQueenz dirty mind terms, "a soft moist opening".

With all the mega production already in process for the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN MARATHON starting October 10 and the SCREAMQUEENZ: LIVE! show on November 18th, there's no time to talk about a movie this week.

Enjoy LISTENER VOICEMAIL and two brand new SCREAMQUEENZ OF THE WEEK.

I've had a revelation on how the intent behind my producing this show needs to be from now on, so get ready, kids.

Let's just say that his podcast cast is about to go INSIDE OUT!

  • 225: Visiting Stacy & Cindy at CREEPY KITCH with LEPRECHAUN 3 & SLEEPWALKERS

The long hiatus is almost over!

To tide you over until the RELAUNCH on SEPTEMBER 14th, please enjoy this guest stint I did on CREEPY KITCH with those lovely crazy ladies, CINDY KINNARD-DIAMOND and STACY PARKER.

We'll be tackling LEPRECHAUN 3 and STEPHEN KING's SLEEPWALKERS, so expect a lot of terrible Irish accents, cat tangents, incest jokes and a sequel pitch Hollywood is too chicken to make!

Plus, SMOOCHIE WATCH, smokin' hjot horror crushes, questionable AIDS metaphors, baby orgies, and a new SCREAMQUEEN OF THE WEEK is crowned!

  • 224: SILENT NIGHT BLOODY NIGHT (1972)
Take a trip back in time with me to the year 1972, because it's time for THE NIGHTMARE CLOSET to creak open again! Delight as I reopen the childhood trauma inflicted upon me by watching SILENT NIGHT BLOODY NIGHT at far too young an age.

Since the show is still on hiatus, this is a rebroadcast of an episode previously only available exclusively to PATREON subscribers.

Christmas is going to be a drag this year in this tiny town, because something evil has come home for the holidays...and it's got an axe.

MARY WORONOV, JOHN CARRADINE and PATRICK O'NEAL  star in the grim grindhouse tale of Yuletide mayhem that scared me so badly, it took forty years for me to rewatch it.

If you're hankering for another LGBT themed horror podcast, you simply must subscribe to the simply delectable FRIGAY THE 13TH

Hosts Matty and Andrew manage to pull off the ingenious concept of blending the Real Life Horror of current events with On-Screen Horrors. Add a big heaping dose of gay fabulousness to the mix, and you've got a show that's  fresh, funny, insightful and...pardon the pun....cutting edge.

  • 223: HOUSE (1986) with TRAE DEAN
Come celebrate the ScreamQueenz EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY SHOW with me!

But wait, it's also coincidentally time for another FRIDAY THE 13th SPRECTACULARRR episode!

And two of those HUGE events happening at once is enough to make me BREAK MY HIATUS for one show only

So come party down with the SCREAMQUEENZ FRIDAY THE EIGHT-TEENTH HIATAL HERNIA SPECTACUVERSARY! SHOW!!!

Our main topic is the horror comedy HOUSE made by a trifecta of F-13 alumni: SEAN S, CUNNINGHAM, STEVE MINER AND HARRY MANFREDINI. I'm joined by very special guest TRAE DEAN who will do his best to protect us all from kids with mullets, slimy demons and deep V's.

Also, a major announcement for the future of the show and how you can help.

    *******************************************

With the podcast on hiatus until September while this hosting issue gets settled, I strongly recommend these four shows, each delightful in their own unique way to keep your ear happy until ScreamQueenz returns in full on September!

    YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS

Host KARINA LONGWORTH hosts this brilliant look into the "secret and/or forgotten histories of Hollywood's first century".  If you think you know Hollywood scandals, Karina's spilling some delicious, well-researched T for you!

Great Place to Start: The SIX DEGREES OF JOAN CRAWFORD series (Episodes 87-92) because what ScreamQueen can get enough of Joan C!

    YOU MUST REMEMBER MANSON

Karina Longworth strikes gold again with this terrifyingly intimate look into Charles Manson, the infamous murders and his not-so-well known ties to the Hollywood scene.

Great Place to Start: The Beginning.  Karina's work is so intricately layered that the only way to grasp the full horror and tragedy of this dark era of Tinseltown's history is to start at Episode 1

    MY DAD WROTE A PORNO

Never has a scary movie ever made me shriek in abject horror than any single episode of MDWAP has.  Join James, Jamie and Alice as they try each week to read the next chapter of Belinda Blinked, the "erotic" series of novels penned by James' dad, ROCKY FLINTSONE. Marvel at Rocky's utter disconnect from grammar, human conversation, story structure, basic anatomy and...well, how sex works.

Great place to start: Technically, you could just jump in anywhere, but where's the fun in that? Start at the beginning, because despite its literary flaws, Rocky's tale has a host of fun recurring characters, truly disturbing patterns and utterly charming banter from the long-suffering hosts to hook you deep and hard.  And get in that game now, before Rocky discovers butt stuff...  *shudder*

A GAY AND A NON GAY

Dammit I can't get this section to format properly, but despite its simple premise (one host is gay, one isn't, they chat for 30 minutes), A GAY AND A NON GAY is exactly the show the world needs right now.  Warm, funny and insightful.  If everyone got along the way Tim and Dan do, the world would be a much better place.

Great Place to Start:  Pick an episode.  Any episode.  You can't go wrong.

  • 222: DEAD BOYZ DON’T SCREAM with JASON “FOZZIE” NELSON *repost*
Celebrate LGBT PRIDE MONTH with one of the worst gay horror films in existence: DEAD BOYZ DON'T SCREAM!

When a group of hunky male models attend a photo shoot at a remote mountain ranch, they find themselves falling prey to an unseen killer determined to see them all dead. Bad acting, gratuitous full frontal nudity and belly laughs ensue.

Since the show is still on hiatus, this is a FLASHBACK to episode 35, and I am joined by JASON "FOZZIE" NELSON who still hasn't forgiven me for making him watch this.

  • 221: THE VOID, THE CAT CREATURE and IT STAINS THE SANDS RED
Even though the show is on hiatus, I just can't quit you!
Enjoy a peek at THE FINAL REEL, the exclusive ScreamQueenz feed available only through Patreon. So you'll be getting two previously released episode of bloodcurdling goodness.

First, a spoiler-free look into the Lovecraftian depths of THE VOID. A ragtag group of very confused people battle against the rising forces of indescribable Evil during the night shift at a remote hospital.

Things are going to get tentacle-y.

Then, some vintage killer kitty camp with the 1973 made-for-tv movie THE CAT CREATURE.  After an amulet is stolen from a recently discovered sarcophagus, its occupant's undead spirit takes the form of an adorable kitteh kat to take revenge on modern day Los Angeles.  MEREDITH BAXTER and GALE SONDERGAARD in this unexpectedly charming yet utterly ridiculous example of the TV trash I cut my teeth on.

And, finally, another spoiler-free chit chat about the indie hit, IT STAINS THE SANDS RED. After trying to escape L.A. during a zombie uprising, sex worker BRITTENY ALLEN is stranded  in the middle of Death Valley after her car is attacked by the shufflind dead.  Armed only with a clunky pair of heels, a bottle of vodka and a bag of cocaine, she must survive not only the desert. but the lone zombie who is in constant unstopping unrelenting pursuit of her.
