We are still watching TV despite the temperatures! This week we chat about Best Interests, Star Trek, The Gallows Pole and Avatar 2 in our what we've been watching section. Then Alex tells us all about the new series of Black Mirror which is coming to Netflix; a departure from previous series in his opinion - in a good way.
In 'back to the future' Steven talks to us about The Wire and it's not all positive.
Thanks for listening!

Steven returns this week and the dream telly team are reunited. First up we spend way too long talking about The Idol which it is fair to say, is getting slated in the reviews at the moment. Then Steven tells us about the premiere of the new Full Monty series he went along to this week in Sheffield.
On the 'deep dive' Alex talks to us about The Crowded Room and let's just say he doesn't hold back on his review of Tom Holland's performance.
Finally, Steven takes us 'back to the future' in fact, to the 90s and British sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey.

Our focus is firmly on the biggest TV event yet this year with the finale of Succession taking place earlier this week. Superfan Katie joins host Kelly and resident TV critic Alex to dissect this monumental piece of TV. On the deep dives his week Alex tells us about Shane Meadow's new series The Gallows Pole. Katie takes us back to the future, with what we believe is the oldest item to have been discussed on this slot yet, Brideshead Revisited.
Thanks for listening.
