In this week's Screen Verdict film review Matt and Jonathan discuss the new Martin Scorcese film, Hugo. They look at the story of a boy who works in a clock tower, trying to repair a mysterious mechanical robot, which features the actors Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen.

This week Matt and Jonathan review the new Muppets movie after a 12 year hiatus. Long time Muppets fan Matt is keen to see the old gang again whereas this is Jonathan's introduction to the series.

Topics include picking favourite and least favourite characters from the Muppet cast as well as rating the new characters in the film, Gary and Walter. Also discussed is Matt's potential crush on actress Amy Adams and why Jonathan felt embarrassed for Chris Cooper.

In an unprecedented Screen Verdict event Jonathan reveals why this week he's angry with Matt before they compare the new Muppets movie to previous films and provide a Screen Verdict rating.

Jonathan and Matt look at the TV show 'Community'. They run through all the characters in the show, including fan favorites Troy and Abed. They decide if Britta is funny or hot enough to be in the show and become divided over what Annie brings to the show. Then they have a look at the latest season that has been shelved by NBC due to poor ratings. They give the season a verdict and discuss whether the show is worth bringing back.

There's also some exciting news for Android users and Matt gives some resolution to his txt messaging drama from the last episode.

The boys throw themselves into 'The Adventures of Tintin'. They look at Tintin's shortcomings as an investigative journalist and hero. They also talk about drunk sea captains and evil Speilberg look-alikes. They also provide a comprehensive discussion on one of the movie highlights; the bullet proof glass case.

Matt also relives a traumatizing choc-top adventure he had at the movies and gets Jonathan to help him out with a personal relationship crisis. They review some fan feedback and offer listers a chance to write a theme song for the podcast. They also welcome in the new year in style. It's a podcast so good you'll hope it Nev-R Breaks.

This week Screen Verdict pulls out the old VHS player and heads back to 1994 with a review of the Aladdin sequel, The Return of Jafar.

Over the course of several podcasts it occurred to Matt and Jonathan that many modern films and television shows appeared to be borrowing plot lines and story telling techniques from the straight to video Disney classic. After many listener requests to do a Return of Jafar podcast, it's finally here.

Topics discussed include the new focus on the character of Iago, the absence of Robin Williams as the genie and rating Aladdin, Jasmine and Jafar as a hero, princess and villain.

Lastly they provide a Screen Verdict rating and also give a shout out to our international listeners based on some interesting Podomatic stats.

A podcast in two parts. Part one (0-26 minutes) is spoiler free. Part two (26 minutes onwards) contains spoilers from season 6 as well as previous seasons of Dexter.

Part one sees Matt and Jonathan discuss the premise and morality of Dexter, Matt's latest choice of fashion accessory, whether Dexter strays into sitcom territory and a rating of the season.

Also featured is the resolution of the feud between Betty White and George Clooney and the Screen Verdict audience shares some feedback on the podcast that divides Matt and Jonathan.

(SPOILERS IN PODCAST) This week Jonathan and Matt review the latest instalment in the phenomenon known as Twilight. Without reading any of the books or having seen any of the films, they provide an outsider's perspective on the box office hit film.

Topics raised include why Bella may be a fan of Dexter, what kind of sex education vampires and werewolves seem to be receiving and why Jonathan suspects Matt may be pregnant with a demon baby.

To conclude they pick a side with either Team Edward or Team Jacob and provide their Screen Verdict on the film.

Back in the field of television Jonathan and Matt review the latest season of HBO's 'Bored to Death'. They run through what the gang of Jason Schwartzmann, Zach Galafianakis and Ted Danson have been up to and whether it lives up to the standard of the first two seasons.

They also receive a surprise guest caller during the podcast before starting two Hollywood rivalries between Betty White and George Clooney as well as Isla Fisher and Amy Adams.

Finally they wrap up People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive debacle and provide some umpiring on the rules of our Moneyball Oscar game.
