New movies are back to their full domination this week on Screening in Kingston as Taylor reviews I Want You Back (Amazon Prime) and Mike reviews Everything Everywhere All at Once (now in theatres).

This week on Screening in Kingston we’re talking all about The Batman! We review The Batman (2022) and get excited for some more new movies after we finally put 2021 to bed.

It’s time to recap the 2022 Oscars in all its glory. We’ll talk about the winners and recap all the hard hitting action. We’ll also announce the winner of our 2022 Oscars Pool.

Taylor reviews CODA and Mike reviews King Richard as we get set for the final week before the 2022 Oscars. We’ll preview the Academy Awards and answer a bunch of fan questions we haven’ had time to get to over the past few weeks.

We finally review Death On The Nile, both the book and the 2022 movie! We welcome back Kaite and together our team discussing the book, the movie, compares the two and we hear a bit from our fans as we wrap up our first book to movie club!

This week in Kingston the Kingston Canadian Film Festival kicks off and we’re chatting with Janet Wells, director of Sleeping Warrior as well as Stene Wells who also worked on the film. We also caught up with Jason Anderson, Director of Programming about the general festival which runs March 3-13. We continue our reviews of Oscar films and remind you to read and see Death on a Nile for our movie club!

We’re in that time of year when Mike and Taylor will start looking at all the Oscar Nominated films as we start the countdown to the Academy Awards. This week, one of our hosts was successful…the other one was not. Movies we review this week include: Belfast, Nightmare Alley and Munich: The Edge of War.
