We kick off our second movie club with Black Cop, a film on CBC Gem written and directed by Cory Bowles. Mike and Taylor give their review and we hear from fans who watched along with us.

In our first new movie review since the start of COVID 19 closures in Ontario, Taylor talks about a romanic comedy with an action twist. The Lovebirds, starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae was originally scheduled for a theatre release BUT was moved to #streaming rather than being pushed back or rescheduled.

Mike and Taylor are joined by Wendy Huot, owner and manager of The Screening Room, Kingston's independent movie theatre to give an update on the Screening Room being closed during COVID19 and what the world of theatre going could look like in the future. She gives some Netflix suggestions and recounts stories about the Cats sing-along screenings they did just before shutting down.

Mike and Taylor are joined by Val Martin and Aprajita Sarcar, who watched the film "The Platform" on Netflix while practicing social distancing. They discuss how they watched the film and what it was like to share in the movie watching experience from home.
