Dr. David C. Korten is the founder and president of the Living Economies Forum; co-founder, board member, and board chair emeritus of YES! Magazine; an associate fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies; and a full member of the Club of Rome. He is best known for his seminal books framing a new economy for the Ecological Civilization to which humanity must now transition.

David devoted his early career to advancing business education in low-income countries. He completed his military service during the Vietnam War as a captain in the US Air Force. 

David now devotes his life to advancing the global transition now underway to a living Earth economy organized around deeply democratic self-governing living communities in which people work in co-productive partnership with the rest of nature to meet the needs of all.

Shawn is an entrepreneur, he’s Director of Business Development at Tech Code Accelerator, And he’s a best selling author.

Shawn spent over 4 years living and conducting business in Beijing, China. After successfully founding and growing a profitable education company, he moved back to San Francisco to invest his experience, connections, and resources back into the startup ecosystem. He has helped several companies through his work with Techcode land and set-up operations in Silicon Valley as well as Silicon Valley companies set up offices, partnerships, and funding relationships overseas. 

Shawn is also the founder of Silicon Valley Successes a television show that features Entrepreneurs and the people that work with them and is the host of  The Silicon Valley Podcast where he has interviewed some of the biggest names in tech including  Jim Mckelvey co-Founder of Square, Melanie Perkins Co-Founder Canva, and Patrick Lee Founder of Rotten Tomatoes

Aside from Brazilian Jujitsu and Salsa Dancing, Shawn’s passion is building a bridge that connects Silicon Valley and the rest of the world.

Peter Goral is an accomplished Artist, trained in the UK, and currently showing his work across Canada. Peter emigrated to Canada in 1967. Jason Cutter is an entrepreneur, sales success architect and a fellow podcast host. Jason started Cutter Consulting Group because he observed recurring issues that were affecting business-to-consumer (B2C) inside sales teams. Especially those that spend money on inbound leads where conversion performance is critical to the organization’s financial wellbeing.

Jason observed that the “old-style” approach placed the burden for success on the backs of superstar agents and managers who were top sales reps.  Even in the best of times this strategy is a bit of a crap shoot with the employer hoping the sales reps will close enough deals.  

Clearly not a very effective long-term strategy. And it is definitely not scalable.

Fun fact about Jason. He grew up in Fremont, California and has a bachelor’s degree in marine biology where he spent a lot of time with sharks.

Natilie Queiroz’s life changed in a 9 minute span on Friday March 4th 2016. Eight months pregnant Natalie was standing in broad daylight near a busy suburban centre when she was stabbed 24 times with a 12 inch carving knife. 

She suffered horrific life-critical wounds to her major organs and main arteries. After heroic intervention by passers-by and police, an air ambulance rescue was launched, and against all medical odds, Natalie and her baby survived – but not without life-changing physical and emotional damage. 

In the four years since the attack, Natalie has started up two businesses – Natalie Q Inspire Ltd where she works as a motivational speaker and consultant and  Inspire 2 Quit Blades, a Community Interest Company that focuses on tackling the rising epidemic in knife crime through sharing her experience as the victim to ‘at risk’ youth groups.

Her best selling book, Still Standing, documents the before, during as well as the important rebuild of her life.
