God created us so that He could have fellowship with us, and be involved in all our affairs, and the only way that can come to pass is if and when we seek sincere fellowship and time with Him. Tell Him all our problems, our hopes and dreams, as well as listen to what plans He might have in store for us. For believe it or not, the Lord has a plan for every life that He creates, and the best way to know that plan is by spending time with Him and asking about it. Now, obviously He might not tell us all of it, but He will certainly show us the path that He wants us to tread, and then guide us step by step until we reach the destiny He's planned for us. But there's a part that we need to play; be obedient to His will and word. And that's not always easy, but He's such a great and caring God that He's promised never to leave nor forsake us, nor allow us to go through any tests or trials on our own. and that's where our faith, our trust and belief in Him comes in to play. The more faith we have, the more we will see of His goodness and wonderful character. Thus it is imperative that we believe. As the Good Book tells us; ONLY BELIEVE...that 's all that's required. Remember, the earth and all therein belongs to the Lord, and all He's asking for as payment for using it and it's abundant blessings is ten percent. We still have ninety percent for ourselves. But our greed and stinginess prevents us from giving God what belongs to Him. How do we expect to prosper under those ungodly situations eh? We obviously cannot, and that is one of the big reasons why our world is so filled with calamity and disaster, we're not obedient to God's will and word. All God's asking of us is to LOVE and obey Him and He'll make us a delightful people in an abundant land. Now doesn't that sound much better than a calamity and disaster filled land? But it all depends on how we react to God's word and His will. Let's make up our minds to react properly and positively nuh. That's wisdom in spades! Much LOVE!

Money isn't everything. That's the first thing a believer ought to understand. It's useful, but seeking God and His righteousness is more important. The Lord owns the earth and all therein, that means all the wealth is His, and we can only get true wealth though Him. So let's stop running down material wealth since we cannot take it with us when we die, but instead concentrate on accumulating heavenly treasure which will there secure and comforting for us when we get there. A Christian's life is not a Sunday walk in the park, although we have the faithful promise of help to handle whatever comes against us. But we must be willing to undergo the things that life throws at us, with Jesus' help of course. We cannot run from hard or shameful things, but must be willing to endure it all for His sake, if we desire to be true disciples. Let's put the joy of heaven before us, like Jesus did, and thus let all the tough stuff just run like water off of a duck's back. (smile) Oh, I know that's easier said than done, but if we're serious, Jesus will help us endure it all. We just have to stand strong and steadfast in faith. Much LOVE!

We all run down the material things of this world, but the sad fact is that we brought nothing with us, and we will carry nothing out when we die. So why do we still foolishly run down money so we can get the material things it can purchase eh? That's not wisdom by any shot of imagination. The things we need to follow are the things of God, which cannot be bought but must be earned though godly behaviour. Everyday we see the serious problems that money causes, but yet we still hold it up as a god of some sort. It's time we learn to use money properly friends, otherwise many of our problems which its unwise use causes, will continue to make our society more turbulent and fraudulent that it ought to be. Jesus Christ is known as the original light of the world, and when He went back to heaven, He gave that designation to us, His followers, and it's of the utmost importance that we walk in that light that's Jesus, for we are His ambassadors and agents down here on earth, and it's through us that unbelievers will want to come to Him or reject Him. As the saying goes: ' You are the only reflection of Jesus that others will see.' Therefore, to be true disciples of Christ, we must walk as children of light, in spiritual enlightenment and moral purity, obeying to the best of our ability, the Will and the Word of Almighty God. Our great and ever-faithful God has been, and will continue to be good to those who faithfully serve Him. However, in return, He demands that His people also show goodness to each other. And it's not that difficult to do if we sincerely LOVE the Lord. It simply means showing kindness and compassion, and caring for those we meet along life's journey. And please remember that there are times when we too will need compassion and caring as we journey along the rough and tumble road that we call life. And that's why we ought to show kindness and goodness, because if we don't, one day we might need it and not receive it either. Thus the 'Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' That's the ONLY wise and sensible way to live this life my fellow believers! Much LOVE!

Prayer is not rocket science, but simple communication with Almighty God, and it doesn't have to be long or eloquent to be heard and responded to. It just has to come from a sincere heart. The Lord will answer all prayers that come from such a heart, but He will not always give us what we want, sometimes because it is not in His will for us, or sometimes because the time is not right for us to have what we desire or be where we want to be. But if we trust Him, we know that whatever we ask for in His will, will be granted when the time is right, or He will simply tell us no, that's not for us. The important thing is that we keep on praying, so that we can gain experience in knowing how our heavenly Father operates. It's one of those times when practice makes perfect. (smile) Much LOVE!

We all are weak in some areas, or get sick during important times, but it's important to know that when we are not at our best, or at our lowest, that's when God's at His best, because that's when His true power shows up and allows us to get through whatever we need to get through. So when we are down, let's not lose hope and faith, because that's when our good and omnipotent God shows up to see us through. Much LOVE!

It's not easy to live for Jesus; that's a fact, but we are expected to do better than we are currently doing, because He has given us all we need to do the job. It's just that we are not using the tools to the best of our ability, and we definitely need to get out there and bring people to Him before He comes back, or before He takes them home, otherwise they would be forfeiting heaven because of our tardiness, our lack of true faith, persistence and endurance. So please, I plead with us, for Jesus' sake, let's up the ante on our game nuh, let's get serious and begin truly living for Christ, like we truly ought to! Much LOVE!
