Chris and Zach are back again to talk about one of their most anticipated movies of the year. David Lowery’s The Green Knight. And boy oh boy was this a movie to talk about. From the tense introduction to the Green Knight himself to bandits with personality, talking foxes, and one very awkward bedroom scene, this movie was basically made to be dissected.

As we get closer and closer to the release of Last Night in Soho, Chris and Zach return to director Edgar Wright to talk about his outstanding police comedy Hot Fuzz. And as was the case with Shaun of the Dead, if you don’t like Hot Fuzz, you’re stupid and I don’t think we can be friends. Sorry, I don’t make the rules. Or maybe I do. Either way, Hot Fuzz is great and that’s all there is to it.

With Marvel Studio’s Black Widow finally hitting theaters after several delays, Chris and Zach discuss this newest entry to the MCU and going back to movie theaters after so long. Scarlett Johansson is back again for one last ride as Natasha Romanoff and this time, the Fast and Furious isn’t the only summer blockbuster about family.

Good morning. In just over an hour, your ears will join others from around the world. And you will have listened to two of the greatest voices in all of podcastkind. Podcastkind. That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty trash tastes in movies anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July. Or perhaps we planned it this way. Or perhaps you arrive at this episode on some other day and the significance of our release date is annihilated. And should you listen all the way through, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as America’s holiday, but as the day that the world declared in one voice “We will not go unentertained into the night! We will not stop listening without a fight! We’re going to listen on! We’re going to reach the end! Today, we celebrate our Script or Screen!

Racial injustice? Sociopolitical commentary? In a superhero show!? You bet your ass it is! And I’m gonna be really honest with all of you. If you’re the kind of person to get upset that a comic series is being political or addressing subjects like race, there’s the door. Goodbye! So long! You will not be missed! Now that they’re gone, everyone else can join us in celebrating our new Captain America!

Just in time for May the 4th (or Revenge of the 5th) it’s Star Wars! Did Han shoot first? Does Princess Leia speak with an English accent? And does Luke Skywalker almost lightsaber himself to death? Chris and Zach dig into the one that started it all, from the characters to the special effects and everything in between. Don’t think it’ll be a good time? I find your lack of faith disturbing.
