The ebullient Craig Morris, friend, patron and Divemaster trainee, joins the team to discuss his scuba journey so far. Alongside tales of diving with sharks and manatees in Florida, Craig explains why he's taken the plunge into the professional diving world and provides some insight into his extraordinary experiences of blackwater diving. Can't tell a Phyllosoma from a Ctenophora? Fear not…all will be revealed! Louise also provides us with news on a new wreck discovery in Mexico, while Ian's mind is blown with some new words!

Marcus, Louise and Ian welcome friend of the podcast, patron and diver Craig Morris to the studio. How does it feel to dive surrounded by Tiger and Bull Sharks? Craig tells us. It's the Groupers that really spooked him!

When is the right time to consider training as a Rescue Diver? Podcast gang Marcus, Louise and Ian recount their Rescue Diver Course experiences, examine what the official course pre-requisites are and discuss their recommendations and tips to evaluate when you might be ready to take that step. Ian learns that a Potato Cod is a real thing, Louise has news of giant caves in Vietnam and Marcus is stunned to discover Ian believes there are UFOs buried under the Yucatan peninsula!

We hear about their adventures, manta ray encounters, elusive humpbacks and a scary in-water incident saved by presence of mind. Also, Louise has the latest news of manta survival against the odds and cocaine addled crustaceans!

The Scuba Confidential team are back to discuss diving in the challenging conditions of Socorro, Mexico, with Chris and Fern. And there's a story involving a boiler, a weight belt and a rogue manta ray. 

What is a Divemaster? How do you know if you're ready to venture down the professional diving path? Isn't it just leading divers around reefs? In this episode we discuss what it takes to be a good Divemaster and share our own experiences of why we chose to become dive pros. Plus, Louise explains how ocean currents are helping reef fish at meal times, Ian reveals some cave rescuer facts and Marcus shares a few of his tales from the dive deck.

The team are back to in the studio with special guest, friend and patron of the podcast, instructor Jim Marshall. Ian has a chilling confession about his opening dry suit dive of the season. Louise has positive news of the efforts the Green Fins organisation towards in-water interactions and fills us in on a newly discovered ancient shipwreck. Jim shares his experience of Spanish diving and his feelings about his recently completed instructor training.
