Nigel Clough was damned if he did & damned if he didn't on Tuesday, as pesky injuries and the seasonal Stephen Quinn red card saw Stags beaten by play-off rivals Northampton Town. 

BUT, was it just plain bad luck or is there something more concerning to address, as the rotten stench of desperation lingers!
