Sean Raya presents Pyramids Podcast - Techno/Progressive/Deep House Mixes

It’s the first episode of 2018 and the first time ever having a live act on the show… and what a killer first live set it is! Inspired by Berlin techno and the environments from which those sounds emanate, this month’s guest, KYN, is a talented electronic duo that explores experimental dance music with a dark, minimal and atmospheric aesthetic. Hailing from Oakland, CA, this duo first caught my attention when I was searching for live acts in the Bay Area online. After getting to know them and hearing what they had to offer, I just knew I had to have them on the show.

I have a very special episode for you all this month as my guest is the legend himself, Frankie Bones! Known as the father of American Rave Culture, it is hard to imagine where we would be today without Frankie. He paved the way for a movement that I can say, without a doubt, changed the entire course of my life. To have him as a guest on the podcast is a great honor, and boy what a banger of a mix he made for the show!
