Sean Raya presents Pyramids Podcast - Techno/Progressive/Deep House Mixes

I have a big announcement to make this week. Pyramids Podcast is moving to a monthly format. I have a lot of exciting things happening right now and am taking it upon myself to free up as much space as possible to optimize my time in the studio. This show will still air on Diesel.FM at the same time (2pm ET/11am Pacific), on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. It has been quite the journey so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. But, for now, lets get on with the episode. I was definitely feeling the melodic vibes this week so expect to hear tracks from artists such as Dale Middleton, Johannes Brecht, MUUI, Soul Button, Christian Smith, and many others.

This week’s episode features a Live Recording from an amazing gig I had in the Central Coast of California a couple weeks ago, called Rancho Techno. The vibes were thick and the crowd was giving it their all on the dance floor. This is the last hour of my set, where I decided to kick it up a notch and bang out some of my favorite Techno tunes as of late. Expect to hear tracks from artists such as Alan Fitzpatrick, DJ ANNA, Gary Beck, Joseph Capriati, Wehbba, and many others.

This week’s episode features an hour long guest mix from an old label mate of mine, Timekube. A producer since age 11, the now 25 year old can be found DJing all across Southern California. And with forthcoming releases on both Funk’N Deep Records and Minimal Sessions, 2017 is shaping up to be a great year for Timekube.

I decided to change things up a bit this week and make an afterhours set filled with trippy synths and minimal tech. This is the kind of stuff I’d play at either the beginning of the night or well after sunrise the next day. Expect to hear tracks from artists such as Alexic Rod, Miguel Bastida, Reset Robot, Shane Fontane, and many others.

For the first episode of the new year, I decided to go through all of the amazing music released in 2016 and choose some of my favorites for this mix. I’ve been vibing hard with that peak hour techno as of late so expect to hear some choice bangers from artists such as ANNA, Durtysoxxx, Jaceo, Wehbba, The Yellowheads, and many others.

I have quite the episode for you all today as my good friend and talented artist, Cameron Graham, sent me a killer 2 hour, genre-bending mix. It has everything from pounding techno to hip hop vocals… and Cameron Graham blends it all seamlessly.

Making his Holy Ship debut this January, Cameron Graham breaks down all the boundaries in this SPECIAL 2 hour guest mix. This is one you don't want to miss!

We have a special episode on our hands this week as the Pismocean Music Festival is happening in California this weekend and both my guest, Enzo Muro, and myself are playing on the LAMP Renegade stage.

I decided to take things deep this week and play some songs of fellow artists who are also playing at Pismocean. Expect to hear tracks from Lee Burridge, Nico Stojan, Davi, Saand, and many others.

Then, in the second hour, Enzo keeps the deep vibes going with a special hour and a half long guest mix.
