Search Engines for Students

Listen Later

The internet can be a wild place, but with the right tools, our students can safely explore their interests and find reliable information. Let's highlight some kid-friendly search engines that encourage curiosity without unwanted content.

This week we explore three search engines that are better suited for kids. They still require adult supervision, but you'll find a lot more comfort than with Google or Bing.

  • SweetSearch - A Search Engine for Students
  • Kidtopia--a Google custom safe search engine for elementary age students
  • Kiddle - visual search engine for kids
