  • Righteousness or Wrath
Righteousness or Wrath The message traces the condition of humanity from Genesis into Romans 1, showing that when people stop seeing God rightly, they eventually begin altering His truth, redefining righteousness, and calling unclean things clean. Romans 1 reveals both the righteousness of God in the gospel and the wrath of God against ungodliness, unrighteousness, and uncleanness. The warning is not merely about recognizing what is wrong in the world around us, but about examining our own hearts for pride, anger, whispering, unforgiveness, envy, and every other evidence that we too desperately need grace. Cain becomes an early picture of this rebellion. Rather than allowing God to correct him, Cain wanted God to value what he valued. When God would not adjust to Cain, Cain turned his anger against Abel. Jude later connects that same pattern with the way of Cain, the error of Balaam, and the rebellion of Korah. Balaam could not curse what God had blessed, so he taught Israel how to compromise themselves through temptation. • What Does Jesus Think of America?
The sermon draws a theological parallel between the United States and the unnamed man casting out devils in Mark 9, arguing that America is currently acting in alignment with God's will despite opposition from other nations. Bro. Qualls presents ten similarities, asserting that America is anonymous in prophecy, alarmed by global suffering, available to act in Christ's name, and able to execute decisive actions that others cannot. This message serves as a defense of current American foreign policy, particularly regarding Iran and Israel, framing these efforts as spiritual victories rather than mere political maneuvers. The tone is confident and pastoral, encouraging believers to view national events through a biblical lens and to trust that God is rewarding America's unique role in securing freedom and spreading the Gospel.

Here Kevin Swanson interviews Paul David Tripp, author of "What Did You Expect? Redeeming the Realities of Marriage." Here is some very helpful advice for anybody married or about to be married to another sinner. Note: The title of this book has been updated to "Marriage: 6 Gospel Commitments Every Couple Needs to Make."
