The great irony - the Jews who were very religious, did not find righteousness. The Gentiles who were not pursuing it, found it. Why? Because of God's electing mercy. Salvation is of the Lord, not of man. Christ is an offense to both Jew and Greek, and the only thing that makes it different is the electing call and mercy of God.
