  • Rom. 1:16-17 - The Gospel: God's Righteousness Revealed
These two verses have had a tremendous impact on the last 500+ years of western Christianity. How we understand the righteousness of God that is revealed in the gospel makes all the difference in the world. And faith is the central concept, just as faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness, before he ever did anything other than believe God.

As we study these verses together, we'll be reminded that this world is not our final home. God is preparing something far greater for those who belong to Him. The promise of eternity with Christ gives believers hope, purpose, and assurance no matter what we face today. • When We Don't Understand
The sermon centers on the profound tension between human understanding and divine purpose, using the story of Lazarus's illness and death to illustrate how God's delays and seemingly incomprehensible actions are rooted in His sovereign love and glory. Though Mary, Martha, and the disciples experience distress and confusion—especially when Jesus delays His arrival despite their urgent plea—Jesus reveals that the sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God, demonstrating that suffering, even in the form of death, serves a greater redemptive purpose. The passage emphasizes that Jesus, as the light of the world, walks in perfect alignment with the Father's will, making obedience and trust more vital than human safety or logic, even when the path leads into danger. The disciples' fear and Thomas's pessimistic loyalty contrast with the ultimate revelation of Jesus as the resurrection and the life, affirming that faith in His character, not in immediate answers, is the response God desires in times of uncertainty. Ultimately, the story calls believers to trust God's heart—His love, wisdom, and power—even when His plan remains hidden, for in such trust, the soul finds the sweetest assurance: that He is good, faithful, and worthy of all confidence.

  • Judgment of Satan (II) — He Didn't Fall Alone
📖 2 Peter 2:4 — Satan didn't fall alone. A third of heaven went with him. Some of those angels are in chains right now. Some are not. This Bible study explains the difference — and why it matters today. 📚 Part of our verse-by-verse study on the Seven Judgments of God This fallen angels Bible study from 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6 lays out one of the most important and most misunderstood distinctions in Scripture: there are two groups of fallen angels, and they are not both doing the same thing right now. One group is already bound in chains in darkness, reserved for the great day of judgment. The other group is active — and they are the principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness that Ephesians 6 says you are already wrestling against whether you know it or not. If you have questions about the sons of God in Genesis 6, the Nephilim, why God commanded the destruction of entire races in Canaan, or what Daniel 2:43 means when it says they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men — this is the lesson that connects those texts and shows you why they fit together without contradiction. Satan has always been in the recruitment business. He is still recruiting. You say you're saved — and that's exactly why he wants you. Go witness publicly this week and see how fast you find out. This fallen angels study from Genesis 6 and 2 Peter 2:4 is not a rabbit trail. It is armor. And Ephesians 6 says you need it. This Bible study on fallen angels and spiritual warfare walks through the texts and explains: • Revelation 12 — Satan as the accuser of the brethren, still with access to the throne of God right now
