All through the Bible, we see that God gives man free will, and not only that, invites us to exercise that free will in stirring up our own hearts to serve Him. This goes all the back to the beginning of the Old Testament, and is all through the writings of our apostle Paul. When we study this out, we see that 1). God gives us free will, 2). wants us make our own spirits willing to serve Him, and 3). promises to bless us with His wisdom when we do. Many of you know the oppression of denominational servitude, and what it's like to labour under the heavy yoke of man. But Jesus calls us to rest in Him, and promises us an easy yoke and a light burden.
