  • Lights in the Midst of Darkness
The sermon emphasizes that a Christian's conduct is essential to the effectiveness of the Great Commission, arguing that the messenger's character directly impacts the reception of the message. Drawing primarily from Ephesians 5, it exhorts believers to maintain a distinct separation from the unfruitful works of darkness while remaining in the world as lights among the lost. The speaker clarifies that this separation involves having no fellowship with sin, yet remaining friendly to sinners without condoning their actions. By living lives that manifest the power of the gospel, Christians serve as a reproof to the world, causing conviction in those who observe their holy walk. Ultimately, the message calls for self-examination and reliance on God's grace to shine brightly, ensuring that one's life aligns with and supports the truth of the gospel.

  • Laborers Radical Obedience to Christ
This sermon examines Matthew 10:5-15, emphasizing the importance of interpreting Scripture within its proper historical and literary context to understand Jesus' instructions to the twelve apostles. The preacher explains that Jesus initially directed the mission solely to the lost sheep of Israel to fulfill covenant promises before the gospel expanded to the Gentiles. Key themes include the urgency of preaching the kingdom of heaven, relying on divine provision rather than material wealth, and distinguishing between those who genuinely receive the message and those who reject it. The text highlights that true discipleship requires a transformed heart and dependence on God, while warning against forcing the gospel upon those who are unwilling to listen. Ultimately, the passage calls believers to faithfully share the good news with their families and communities, trusting God to provide for their needs through the hospitality of receptive listeners.

  • The Kingdom Is at Hand Pt.2
In Part 2 of Matthew 4:12–17, we look deeper at Matthew's declaration that the coming of Jesus fulfills the promise of Isaiah: "the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light." Jesus enters a world marked by sin, brokenness, and spiritual darkness, and His arrival changes everything. Christ does not simply point people toward the light. He is the Light. His presence exposes the darkness of sin while offering hope and salvation to those who have been lost within it. The Kingdom of Heaven has drawn near because the King Himself has come. This message explores the contrast between darkness and light, why the world desperately needs Christ, and what it means for those who have seen His light to live differently. The light has dawned, the King has come, and we are called to turn from darkness and follow Him.

  • HELL DIDN’T DISAPPEAR BECAUSE WE QUIT PREACHING IT
HELL DIDN'T DISAPPEAR BECAUSE WE QUIT PREACHING IT. [THE ETERNITY NOBODY WANTS TO TALK ABOUT] Luke 16:19–31; Revelation 20:15KJV Jesus Christ spoke plainly about eternal judgment because souls matter. Luke chapter 16 records the rich man and Lazarus. Both men died, but death did not end their existence. The rich man became consciously aware of judgment, remembered his earthly life, and discovered a great gulf that could not be crossed. Revelation chapter 20 describes the final judgment before the great white throne and warns that those whose names are not found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. Hell reveals the seriousness of sin and the holiness and justice of God. But judgment is not the end of the Gospel message. God loved the world and gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ bore our sins at Calvary, shed His blood, died, and rose again. Therefore, no sinner has to face eternal judgment without hope. Salvation is available through Jesus Christ. The rich man became concerned about his five brothers only after it was too late for him to warn them personally. His concern reminds Christians to pray for and witness to the lost while there is still time.
