The struggles of hanging onto anger and how forgiveness can set your heart free. 

If you are anything like me and have a hard time letting things go, at forgiving others, or just waiting for that person who has done you wrong to come crawling back begging for forgiveness, then you are in the right place!

I can tell you that forgiveness is a tough one for me, so much so, I took forever to release this podcast because I have been working on releasing my anger and my hope of them coming to beg me to fogive them...I waited so long and no one came.  NO ONE!  The only person who can help you get over things is you--yes YOU. 

So it starts here and now, and with you--do the work to heal, to learn, to find yourself in this process because it takes a hell of a lot more energy to hang on to the anger than to let it go.  It is not going to happen overnight, but it will happen, with love and patience.

Don is an author and a photographer.  One area of his work is boudoir photography, or as Don calls it--sensual portraits.

If you hide behind your trauma, your imperfections and the stories you tell yourself the camera will pick all this up.  The vibe you give off is easily seen in pictures. 

Don has been witness to the many ways in which women hide, downplay themselves and let their traumas become their norm. 

When Don was hired by a women to do sensual portraits so that she could reclaim her new body after a major surgery, it was very much a way for Don to heal his own wounds.  The universe always has a plan!

Danie is a mother and a grand mother and a women who will not be told what to do--even with a broken back.  She has over come debilitating and serious injuries and also lost her husband in one of the car accidents.

Danie is a warrior that will fight for what she believes in and stands for.  She was determined to get out of the hospital bed, then out of the wheel chair so she could be active with her children and now grand children. 

At a young age Danie's family went on a transcendental meditation retreat where she learned to harness the power of the universe at a very young age.  This meditation proved to be helpful in her life many years later.  Come have a listen to a story of courage, resiliency and love.
